Malawi - Landrace Sativa 130+ days flower

Its actually $1000 an ounce but I'm not that greedy so I cut $300 off the top. This stuff takes 140 days to finish. At least the landrace experts will agree that this stuff is "GOLD." 6 weeks of veg from seed then 20 weeks to flower. Whats the bills on a grow that takes 26 weeks? Whats a high worth that 2 hits has experienced smokers scared it was laced?
Its actually more precious than Gold. Its sacred and religeous. This is the stuff of legends. 2 hitter quitter. You've never gotten high till you take 2 pulls off this strain. The rarest strain in the world that has been kept pure and preserved perfectly by the masters. I just so happened to be nice to the right person and he was nice back with a gift I can never thank him enough for.

I dont know if its the same stuff, back in the early 80s my bestfriend went to Jamaica and came back with a pants leg stuffed with purple sativa. It was incredible, but I wouldnt pay 700 an oz for it. Thats just me, there is no drug I would pay that much for, I would do without before spending that kind of money on a buzz.

To each his own man. I would never spend 700 bucks to fly on a plane to some piece of shit tourist destination but that doesn't mean it's not worth it to some people. I paid $460/oz for some Malawi for my vacation this year. I was out on my boat for 16 days straight fishing, tubing, swimming, camping and smoking a shitload of some of the best weed I've ever encountered. To each his own! :-P

Looks like we have a genius on board. Just because you dont know anything about the pure landrace JLB w/ 140 days to mature doesnt mean that it doesnt exist. These seeds are from Peter Tosh and all those rasta's from the 60's that have been preciously preserved and seeded ocasionally to keep the seeds alive and viable. I have the F4's that came from JahgreenLabel that are purple dominant and has absolutely 0 cieling. (IN PICS) But you wouldnt know anything about that because you think that the JLB comes from India. LOL Its not Indian Lambsbread Its JAMAICAN! The seeds came from the same plants Bob Marley smoked before his death. His whole family were part of a religion that was centered on this beautiful Sativa from the islands in the 50's and 60's.

There is Blue Mountain Jamaican and Double Jam that are hybrids with a bit more indica to reduce flowering time... but they are not this pure landrace sativa.
Never claimed to be a genius. It's quite simple really. You don't seem to understand what a land race is. Growing some strain for a 60 or 70 years doesn't make it a land race. Land race cannabis has been growing in isolation from other types for many thousands of years before recorded history. Many types of Cannabis were brought to the Americas by sailors etc. Jamaica was a British colony and during that time period the British empire was heavily involved with India.

I didn't mean to offend you bro.

malawi isn't worth $700 if you're in the know. a pack of seeds is something like $30. you could buy an entire system & seeds for $700.

Can tell you realy have no clue.
If their true landrace seeds phenos are not homogeniuse, their gonna flower anyplace from 12-18 weeks and it is not like growing your average skunk x haze. Height, speed and fertiliser rates will have to be zonned in.

O yer for the record if Kali mist gets you stonned then your either being ripped of or its been grown to long and missed its flower, But that isnt that easy

I'm a member of a private patient board in my state and I've seen the Holy Smoke Seeds Malawi grown out. Only 10 of them, but they were 9 feet tall indoors and not one of them had solid buds, just airy fluff that tastes like ass. They make some SWEET glycerin tincture, but they aren't good enough to smoke. That being said, I have another 10 pack of HS Malawi that I'm going to run but finding a good pheno doesn't look that easy. I would pay $700 for a clone of the Malawi I've tried hehehe.

I also found a site with some other Malawi crosses. Cannazon.com has the Chunky Cherry Malawi (Malawi X (cherry ak47 x (hawaiian sativa x hawaiian sativa))) , Black Malawi (MalawiXDurban) and some others. I've heard good things about them from people but never ordered from them myself.

I don't think I would pay $700 for some Malawi but if I went 5 years without it, I may splurge to enjoy a treat from the past hahaha. Peace!

kali mist get you stoned?!!!!! who ever said that? it sure wasn't me! kali mist is way to racy. it's a fun happy buzz, but you can't sit still on it even when you want to. i wanted to trip out on tunes with it when i was gifted a gram i couldn't score weight on and gave up bidding at $120 for 1/8th, but ended up cleaning house instead. oh no, you can't get any more opposite of stoned than kali mist without turning into a tweakeri

i had better luck with my malawi then. i started it on flowering early i think because i expected it to stretch, and got some decent bud out of it when i had to cut it down early after all of my plants got hot spot fried and had enough as they were also working hard making seeds too combined with SCROG pruning of lower fan leaves that caused the remaining fan leaves to die off putting all of their energy into seeds. sadly, the malawi gold was hit the hardest of any strain, but the buzz was no worse than acceptable if not trippy yet. it DEFINITELY co-operated more than my highland thai bitches.

this is what plants that get fried by your light look like

It exists and has become it's own line, but AFAIK no cannabis was native to North and South America. It was all brought over through history.

Tobacco and a mix of herbs. Many Native Americans are actually offended that most people think they smoked weed in their rituals. Not sure why, but some seem to detest that opinion.

But in reality, Europeans brought marijuana to North America from India after it made it's way to China. Now, what the Natives put in their pipes AFTER marijuana was introduced is up for debate.

Salvia was also native to Mexico, and Peyote was also being used before the arrival of Europeans, so there's that too.

Maybe.

While there is strong historical evidence illustrating that the psychoactive properties of cannabis have been used as part of cultural practices of several societies throughout the world, it is unclear when the psychoactive properties of cannabis were discovered in North America. Some scholars believe that cannabis probably existed in North America long before the Europeans arrived. In Chris Bennett’s book Green Gold: Marijuana in Magic and Religion he says, “there is some very good physical evidence that indicates cannabis played a part in some of the native cultures prior to the arrival of Columbus.”([104]) In 1985, Bill Fitzgerald discovered resin scrapings of 500-year-old pipes in Morriston, Ontario containing “traces of hemp and tobacco that is five times stronger than the cigarettes smoked today.”([105]) Other archaeological evidence includes stone and wooden pipes and hemp fibre pouches that were found in the Ohio Valley from about 800 A.D.([106])

I got in on the Attitude Promo with Holy Smoke seeds and could never no matter the flower time expect others to pay a price of 7oo an ounce .. If I had to pay that price I would hope for lubrication due to the harshness of being ass fucked so seriously .. It may become gold with the right cure but it sure the hell aint worth the price , shit I got around 50 African seeds for around a $100 american currency .. Add maybe 600 in electric if I want to grow them all and fuck Ill have pounds of Malawi Gold for dollars on the pound , as well I will make sure to cross some of them and maintain the original stock as well therefore I wont need to ever purchase these again .........PotSnob

Everything I've ever read suggests Cannabis originated in Africa/Asia and spread from there over the centuries.

Should be noted the tobacco they smoked was straight hallucinogenic....

You grow out all 50 of those African seeds and I'm pretty sure you won't find a Malawi like the one I posted. It was pheno picked and inbred over the years from hundreds of seeds. People seem to forget that just buying seeds won't ensure you get a good pheno, much less a mythical pheno that might only be found in one out of a hundred seeds.

If you want to spend twice the amount of money on nutes, electricity and time while still selling it for the same price as a 60-70 days strain, then good on you! Most people though would probably have to take into account the 130+ days of flowering. Have you ever grown a 130+ day flowering strain?

I've seen the Holy Smokes Malawi Gold grown out and it's airy ass tasting weed. It makes good tincture, but not smoke worthy. I am running the African Buzz right now (Malawi x Malawi from Seedsman), and it is looking a little better but only time will tell. None of the Malawi or Malawi gold's I've seen out there are like this Malawi. Not even the Malawi known as "cornflakes".

Anyways I agree that $700 isn't a realistic price but I'd pay $450 again if I was headed on vacation or something. Hell, I'd pay $700 if it had been years since I could find that exact strain. Like I've said before, I'd never spend $700 on a trip to a shitty tourist destination, but some people do! To each his own! :-P

Of course, which is why I said Maybe.
I think its beyond us to know one way or the other if there were ever any types of landrace strains in America before we came.
I personally believe every continent outside of Antartica had some type of hemp/cannibas growing, even if it wasnt worth smoking.

If you like the Melawie try to get the Melanjie. Same plant just a longer lasting effect phenotype.

Holy Smokes has it. It does best grow to Four nodes and pinched. The mother should be allowed to veg 6 months for maturity from seed.

Then clone her and straight to bloom from rooted clone. It takes 20 weeks from there. 1/4 strength nutes, I use 1 200 watt (real world output) 3 watt per chip LED per 2f x4ft area.

I found under hid it stretches 500% the LEDs keep it at around a more manageable 250% stretch. I use 2 gal airpots. It will give you great old school sativa stone that lasts 3.5 - 6 hours with 0 burn out.

I use CES nutes they love it. It is by no means a beginners strain but it does clone easily. You can even bury a lower branch under the top soil in the pot and it will shoot roots quick.

I think I got my last beans through the attitude.
