Making your own e-juice. Thoughts?

I made that juice with some mediocre auto nugs.

It was ok but took a shit tonne of vaping using the 8ml/1g measure.

I'm going to try it after my latest harvest is done curing to see whether primo herb makes it any better.

Currently though I'm vaping some purged QWISO oil mixed into PG at 0.1g of oil to 1ml of PG.

It's a much better way IMO unless my next try with primo works any better.

I used fresh frozen trim for my QWISO run. Came out pretty good.

Do not add any VG to your mix otherwise you'll get separation.

If you want to use less PG but with VG too then some grain alcohol or vodka will help keep things mixed longer.

You can also use BHO but it needs winterising to remove lipids and fats etc before mixing into the base fluids.


PEG400 - polyethylene glycol 400. Is what a lot of MMJ vape fluids are using as a base as you don't get any separation occurring.

hey jon, you have any info on using ice water hash as a starting point instead of say qwiso m8?

Yeah.

Dissolve into some alcohol.

Strain. Evap. Purge. Mix with PG or PEG400.

Let's VAPE in the vid posted mentions adding some kief to his juice also.

Maybe you could try a decarb of the ice hash then dissolve into PG/VG mix mentioned in the link.

Start with a 3ml base fluid. You can always dilute if it's too strong at a later time.

Personally though i would dissolve it in ISO and evap as mentioned.

You'll end up with a cleaner juice.

The method on YouTube gives a very very dirty looking juice.

ISO makes a golden translucent juice.

Cool man.. I did a QWISO.. Ya think its a good thing to decarb and evaporate excess alcohol it by heating it up quickly in the microwave? I got most of the ISO out prior to a mixing with VG/PG mix. I wish my tester would give me feedback.. I didn't notice any separation, but I didn't let it sit for a long time.

Good to know about Ethanol and VG/PG blend.. I wasn't sure how that would take, I might try it but with higher proof alcohol like 150+.

Thanks for posting up the ratio. In volume whats .1G of QWISO roughly look like?.

I double boil my QWISO for a slow purge.

I only weigh my final amount to work out how many ml's I need.

Oh I gotcha.. I guess that is easier than volume. Thanks.

Yeah I hear ya about the double boiler.. I wanted to see if I could come up with a quicker way to get rid of ISO.
Might be too hot to quick...
