making tincture with decarb'd bho oil. any help please?

I'm trying to make tincture with 10 grams crit mass decarbed bho oil and 100 proof absolute alcohol. I'm fuzzy on the steps and what I can find talks about using material and what seems like a bunch if extra steps since I'll be using clean decarb'd bho oil.

If I understand correctly I take 4oz of absolute and add my 10 grams makinging it 4oz 10g and boil off the water until its about 2oz 10g and thats the final product? Am I missing anything?

Also when boiling off the water it talked about using cooking oil?

Decarb the 10 grams in a 250F vegetable oil bath and add 2 oz of alcohol at the end.

Stir and cool.

How long am I supposed to cook the oil and vegetable oil mix for before adding the alcohol?

Ended up messing up with my bho due to my lack of experience making tincture. So I did one with 18 grams kief and 1 cup of 100 proof absolute. Let it sit for 5 days shaking twice a day then filtered once and squeezed the material and filter to get as much out as I could then let filter again by itself.

This is what I ended up with

I got 2 ounces of this and it has a muscle relaxing effects to it. One dropper full is one dosage.

And that's how it turned out lol

The oil does not mix with the hot vegetable oil bath, a container of oil sits in the hot oil bath.

Time is a poor way to judge. Watch the bubble action to tell when the solvent is gone, and the oil is decarboxylated to the level desired.

Use Everclear 190 proof and nice dried buds...Works great, let them steep for a couple of weeks...shazaaaam!

Oh Ok lol well I figured it out and I am making another batch of tincture with 45 grams of the same kief and 151 proof everclear tonight. The kief is decarbing now

Alright got it all mixed and sitting in the freezer. Used 2 cups of 75.5% everclear

I made my first topical yesterday and put some in a gel capsule and took it a while ago. I'm definitely high. Used coconut oil and decarb'd bho

I was saying that how your final product looks/smells/tastes/works it the answer to how well you did.

Ugh. That topical was way to strong lol I took a nap. And was pretty much super stoned the rest of the night. Going to mix in more coconut oil lol but the concentrated mixture was super effective on my burn. It blistered a little but there's no pain
