Making Hash with my Bubble Now Machine

I bought myself a Bubble Now machine and a set of Original Bubble Bags for Christmas. I made hash with them tonight, from a bunch of fresh frozen trim (sugar leaves and lower buds) from a recent Satori harvest.

I made 3 runs (with fresh plant material each run). Each run goes from left to right below. The numbers in the column headers are in microns.

As you can see, the first (top) run is greener than the others. That's because I ran the machine for 10 minutes (too long). On the other 2 runs, I ran the machine for the suggested 6 minutes, and I got a much creamier haul.

Wooohoooooo! Nice Xmas present. Great first time @ZaraBeth420! #2 and #3 have great colors. I'd call that a success!

Are you taking any extra steps to dry it? It needs to be further separated. If you leave it like that to dry it will definitely white out and you have a very high potential for microbial growth like mold and mildew. Essentially, it will kind of "go bad". The most common methods are freezing and then microplaning or gently forcing it through a stainless steel sieve. Forgive me if you've already taken these steps but it's very important so I thought I'd point that out.

*may the melts be with you* :weed:

Thank you.

I'm freezing it overnight, and will be using a fine stainless steel micro grater to "powderize" it onto cardboard for complete drying. I guess I'll press it into blocks after that.

This was a lot of fun.

Awesome. Looks like you've done your research!

Might I suggest putting a layer of parchment overtop the cardboard?
