bioluminescent plants have been done in many different ways but most if not all are only bioluminescent when there living, I read an article a few month back about scientists working on bioluminescent trees to help illuminate parks....that would be a trippy park.
Some marine algea is naturally luminescent....nature is full of such things. Remember chasing lighting bugs as kids....and I agree that would be a trippy park.........

you can have a multi colored rainbow strain and call it "willy wonka weed"
It might be possible to do that with food coloring by dipping the main stem in lets say two different buckets of water that contain yellow and red for about five minutes. Then you could have rasta bud which would be green, yellow, and red.

The more I read about food coloring, the more concerned I get. Mabe it is not the best idea to smoke food coloring. Apparently, each color causes serious side affects and has been known to cause cancer. Also, some European countries have banned food coloring that is allowed by the FDA even though they are harmful. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_coloring
You know they have organic food colorings now that are made from plants

What do you guys think about adding food coloring to the water during flush to make the buds colored? Once I added red food coloring to some water and put the end of a celery plat in the water and the celery turned red. Would the same concept work for weed?
Try blue that would be cool it's only food colour on one plant , try it's whole life wi blue. Lol don't listen to Mr know it all he is a hard work ... things don't get invented unless you try go a head mate like to try myself with a seedling all way even wen feeding few drops blue I. Water along as pH right you should not even effect the smoke if cured right

Hard NO!!! Yes they dye carnations like this and other ornamental flowers you don’t eat or smoke, but even if something is safe to eat - you have no clue what it will do to your lungs when smoked.
I’ve see red/blue/purple/ buds just from their genetics. If you want more color out of your plants, you can chill your nutes, and drop the temperature during the dark cycle. Many purple buds aren’t as potent as the green ones anyway, and any experienced smoker goes by smell and shape, not color.
