Can i use all the leaf trimmings from my plants to make cannabutter?
Well im gonna be growing just like two plants and i was tryin to find something to do with the trimmingsyes you can. Remove all the fans and stems first. How much do you have to work with?
So i only want to use the sugar trim? Like the leaves on the bud itself?ok...so when you go to harvest, remove all the fans and anything with a big stem. then you will have nothing but the good sugar trim to work with.
This thread will give you pretty much all the info you need. Just adjust the amounts according to what you have to work with. You could even use the flowers
Hey, you ever work with weed that's already been washed with butane? I just throw it away, but since you're here...ok...so when you go to harvest, remove all the fans and anything with a big stem. then you will have nothing but the good sugar trim to work with.

Yes in fact that what I always do with my trimmings, I make use half for weed butter and then the other half for hash. Can i use all the leaf trimmings from my plants to make cannabutter?
You can use regular leaf, but it barley has THC in it. You mainly want the Sugar leaf, as it's cakes with THC, and throughout the process of making butter or hash, it separates the THC into desired method(butter, hash, glycerines, oils, etc..) A lot of the time, I just throw my little shitlet nugglets in with the trim to make it a bit more potent. (as I'd rather keep the big fat nugs to smoke)So i only want to use the sugar trim? My rule of thumb is anything smaller than a quarter goes into the trim pile.
Ya no problem!Awesome thx man
INDUBITABLY!!My rule of thumb is anything smaller than a quarter goes into the trim pile. ...Agreed!

Hey Meta no I haven't and no I wouldn't ...not something I would want to risk my patients eating. I don't know if it would harm or anything, just can't take that risk.Hey, you ever work with weed that's already been washed with butane? I just throw it away, but since you're here...
you can use the fans and stems, but for me, they just waste space in my butter/oil etc. There is probably something in them, but not enough to waste the space. You could save the fans for juicing though. But anything with sugar on it is great. So i only want to use the sugar trim? Like the leaves on the bud itself?
Oh woa! Awesome! Does this is exactly what I was looking for! Was curious on how to make THC pills, thanks bro.well I musta been stoned lol...here is the link to the thread I was talking about http://rollitup.org/t/badkats-cannapharm-canna-caps-uv-reactive-glowing-hash-candy-canna-bombs-more.412878/
For me, especially when it comes to butter, I always strain it so that there's no leaf or stems at all.. Just a bit of plant matter that may have gotten threw the screens, but mostly just pure THC butter, no leaf or stems.you can use the fans and stems, but for me, they just waste space in my butter/oil etc. There is probably something in them, but not enough to waste the space. for example with the fans, etc...my normal ratio is 150 grams of popcorn trim to 8 sticks of butter. If the material is full of fans or stems, I would have to add more material to get the effect/potency I am looking for.
