  • $8.00 to 9.00 per hour: 29 percent
  • $10.00 per hour: 29 percent
  • $11.00 to 14.00 per hour: 19 percent
  • $15.00 or more per hour: 7 percent
  • No minimum wage: 9 percent

How would you know? Have you asked your employer?

What is it that you are trying so desperately to prove?

Want to make more money? Try learning a skilled trade and find a better job. Minimum wage is NOT meant to be a living wage. Never has, never will.
I'm a union carpenter from the bay area here! Good luck raising a family on my income alone(65k)
Period!
Wtf!
Where in Cali do you live?

reading compensation, dummy.
Your thread title is misleading. Among the employers who want to raise the minimum wage, the majority would like to see it around $8-$10.

Your title presumes that the question was asked of all the employers of the state, not just the ones who want to raise the min wage.

This Huff post article relies on imbeciles to not make that connection.

Why hasn't your Union represented you and your fellow carpenters? Ever think about striking? See how many homes get built then.
