Ive heard something to that effect also, but dont know how true it is......wish I had room to start my CK......gonna have to wait for my blueberry or pineapple express to finish, & they are both just getting started good in flower.

Great grow ! Surely hope mine comes out just as good.

I may have spotted a few nanners on the plant that's really REALLY close to being done. I may be wrong...but I'll try to get a decent pic. I've done some reading, and some people seem to think that if you get nanners really late in flowering, it's a sign that they're ready to be chopped? Almost all of the pistils are oranged and receded, and the leaves are yellowing. I've checked the trichomes and they look almost all milky. What to do, what to do....
I'm fairly new to growing but I've heard b4 that they can be from late stages of flowering from a few sources, but overall I heard they come from light leaks during your darkness period. For example if your lights are off during the day but light still gets into your flower room from sunlight finding cracks or low insulated spots..no science to prove it just hearsay from other growers

We can't go in there all straight-eyed...he'll know something's up.

And if they are milky I'd chop IMO.

I did end up chopping the one plant last night. Quite honestly, it should have gone another week, and I know that...but the nanners popping up made me nervous. The other plant still has 2-3 weeks to go, in my estimation, and I didn't want anymore risk of pollination with tons of seeds than is necessary. Maybe was a bad move, but hey, we learn!

This plant is STINKY. The smell was so overwhelming when I was chopping and trimming her up. Almost nauseating in how strong it was. Smelled like...fuel and grapefruit. I weighed everything after trim, and it came to 880 grams, including about 200 grams of larfy shit...but that included the big stems on the main branches, so I'm sure it's much less. Curious to see the dry weight.

Man they look great. How was trimming them buds?
Thanks man. Trimming was tedious, haha. Shears and gloves became big sticky messes....but I reckon that's a good sign. Got a small paper bag full of good bud trim to make hash or butter with...though I've never made hash before.

Hey so I'm gonna flip my lights tonight and I was wondering...some ppl put their plants in complete darkness to let the plant know it's time to bud. Is this completely necessary because it is less than ideal for my setup

My plants haven't ever had extended periods of complete darkness. I think some people find that it helps, but I just couldn't be bothered. To each his own!

I am trying 12/12 FS on some right now under 1000 watt digilux w/ triple x lamp. I think I will try this as well with a side by side to see what happens. Thanks for sharing they look perfect!

This is late, but if you're still running the same nutrients...you had a magnesium deficiency causing the curl up/crispy looking tips.

Yeah man, I think you're right. I was using Epsom salts near the beginning of the grow to supplement calcium and magnesium, but then sort of just got lazy halfway and quit. I think I may pick up some calmag if I decided to do this again. All in all, got about 10oz from 2 plants on my first run, though. Pleased with myself. This stuff is hard-hitting, too. HO-LEE SHIT.
