Magical butter machine 2 I need help!

Im trying to use my friends magical butter machine to make tincture i have all the mixture in there and it is above the MIN line and below the Max line but when i place the lid on it only the temperature settings and the 4hr 8 hr and clean button light up the 1hr and 2 hr do nothing when i go to select temperature or press any button it does nothing someone please help!!!

all i know is that first you press the button area that says temperature, then you press the 4 hour tincture button. if that doesn't work, i don't know what to tell you.

Select temp of 120 or 140 i forgot which one it was for tinc, check ur manual, after that all you have to do is select 4 or 8 hour, which ever you prefer(8 hour is thicker & darker). Then it should start lighting up. If it doesn't, contact tech support, MB2 has a 1 year warranty, if it was purchased off the original site and not ebay or amazon.

I have a question about making tincture using the Magical Butter 2 Machine.

Do I decarb before using MB3?

I decarbed weed and then used MB3. I added pineapple chunk (14g) and 2 1/2 cups of Everclear to MB3 machine and ran it for 4 hours at 160 degrees Farenheit. The tincture had zero THC potency. I was left with green Everclear. Since the MB3 says it decarbs while making the tincture, was it wrong to decarb in the oven prior to using the MB3 Machine? Did I decarb too much?

Help me.

i have only made coconut oil with the machine. i doubt that decarbing in the oven and the machine's alleged decarbing ability will be a problem. i always decarb in the over then make the oil.

.5 oz of pot is not much when using that much liquid. i didn't like my first batch of oil and that was 1.5 oz of bud to 2 cups of oil.

i bought the machine to make tincture but after a lot of reading, i made coconut oil instead.
