I've been a very very heavy weed smoker for 4 years now. It's come to my attention weed has a lot of carcinogens and tar in it. Plus smoking anything is bad. How long have you smoked and how do you feel? Are you an everyday smoker? Please be honest thank you for any feedback. Forgot to mention I'm asking because I've noticed my lungs hurt a little sometimes and I cough a lot and sometimes my throat get really really dry and hurts a lot. Water doesn't even help when it starts to get like this.

if you only do it for recreation, why not take a break for a few months?
Yeah I've been on a T break since I got worried which is only a couple days lol but I'm still going. I think I'll stay off for a bit then switch to vaping and edibles.

I'm an older MMJ patient and have difficulty smoking dry product but find vaping a very smooth way to get my meds.it does not make me cough or irritate my lungs the way smoking does

Started smoking a pack a day in 96

I quit cannabis in 97 and noticed nothing much but dreams and nightmares every night along with more energy in the mornings.

I started smoking canna again in 2000 and have done so daily to this day.

I quit smoking stoges 15 months ago and noticed a BIG health improvement.

That being said, something is telling me cannabis doesnt have as bad as an effect as the less carcinogenic tobacco does. I find that shitty cured weed or shitty weed in general is much more likely to give me a harsh throat. Vaping seems like a good way to go though if you are concerned with health

I smoked for 45 years before giving up tobacco and switching to e-ciggs and notice definite health improvements as a result. I grew MMJ for a friend with cancer for the past 3 years and only recently started using it myself. for me it was a choice between MMJ and opiate base pain meds and hypertension drugs that also have serious side effects. with MMJ I do not need any prescription drugs and have less side effects.MMJ may not be completely health but for me it is a lot healthier than the alternative options.vaping eliminates all the combustion by products and most,if not all the carcinogens.
