You have pm on your plant mate..you have the right idea with lst but your plant needs to be trained better for it to work right
COOL THIS WAS A LAST MINUTE DECISION IVE NEVER GROWN THE OG PK RIPPER STRAIN BEFORE BUT found out its full of foilage and yes about 5 ft. so i did this to keep her low. this clone believe it or not is been growing since feb.. she had some issues and well i don't hav that option like a lot do with seeds clones so i nursed her back but 21 clones of her and now flowering with the plasma for first time. MY first grow yielded almost a pound on one plant 4x4 tent at 400w

Hell i dunno its my second grow ever so how do you train it better i ask.. I've seen so many ways and it all depends on your strain as well correct?

Ouch..looks more like High Stress Training :)

LST works best when you do it as the plant is growing, before it gets starts budding. That way you end up with a dense canopy with lots of tops at the same height.

You have powdery mildew on your plant mate..if its not that its mites you have ...your plant won't last long with either....look at the white stuff all over your leaves..thats not good...the op is right you need to be doing lst training in veg..hope this helps

start your training in veg, i like to tie my plants to the flower pots, that plant doesnt look like it had any training before flower, its kind of later to be training in flower especially when you already see flowers. take care of that PM issue, noone likes that shit

These are plants that i trained by toping and tying down (LST). I feel this is more what you should be looking for. My tent will be a even canopy of about 20 tops in a 2x2 when i am finished.

You achieve this buy topping and tying from a early age. If you want to see a step by step and exact timelines check out my journal. I have kept it very detailed and it should be helpful.

would be good to see an update, what you did to the plant looked great the only mistake you made was not doing it before turning the plant over to flower
if you did all the shoots would now be the same height ( could be 6-12" long depending on the strain) and in late flower become loads of long fat buds sites

I often train my plants the same way you have and its resulted in some really large crops :)
