"LPs are lawfully able to use pesticides on their cannabis. I didn't realize that some pesticides had been approved (I'd seen that some fungicides were, but here is the latest list):

As of May 12, 2015, there are seven registered pesticides approved by the Pest Management Regulatory Agency for use on cannabis (marijuana) that is produced commercially indoors. They are:

MilStop® Foliar Fungicide
Actinovate® SP Fungicide
Opal Insecticidal Soap
Neudosan Commercial
Kopa Insecticidal Soap
Rootshield® HC Biological Fungicide Wettable Powder
Rootshield® WP Biological Fungicide"

Just to add another side to this. Why be afraid of fungicides and pesticides? Ever wonder why certain strains are harder to mold? The citrus strains that originated in the tropics for example use those terps as natural fungicide being quite effective on aspergillus. You can buy pesticides made of terps as well. In concentration, the cannabinoids and terps are very irritating to skin etc.

Whats more important is what happens to it when exposed to high temps, and how the body reacts. Some terpenes that cannabis produces are lethal if ingested in relatively high quantities. These products have been deemed safe.
Just because its a chemical doesnt mean anything..anyway

Also i lol'd at microwave

I'm sure other municipalities will be watching this closely.. if the rcmp doesn't shut them down in vancouver what's to stop any other city that has a majority of enlightened councillors, police chiefs, fire chiefs and health inspectors on board..

would love to see the same happen in montreal.. it would be better than vancouver though, because it's quebec, and everyone knows quebec is the best at everything it does..

If you buy from a CC chances are you are being exposed to these poisons and more, in fact if you eat fruit or veggies guess what.......at least LP's will have to preform lab tests to ensure that there is no residue from these products. Can you say the same for the food you eat or products from an unregulated dispensaries. Just because LP's can use them doesn't mean that they will use them.

Vancouver has their own police force so the Feds can't do much...the surrounding municipalities can't do the same. I live in a sub of Vancouver-Burnaby-and they have said no to them and they could be raided by the RCMP as that's our police force. any city with their own police can thumb their nose at Rona...I hope more do!

Its only a matter of time like I said...

our feds have next to NO SAY when it comes to medicating the sick! No court or police officer would waste a med patients time the way things stand now!!! No point in charging a patine with meds anymore!

I'm considering opening a shop in Toronto for MMAR patients. So they can buy shatter, oil , cream and herbs and vape supplies.
