About the Canadian Medical Marihuana Licensed Producers Group
The Canadian Medical Marijuana Licenced Producers (CMMLP) was founded to protect and promote the Canadian medical marijuana regulatory framework, serve as a responsible resource for policy makers, and protect the rights of medical marijuana patients. We are a medical marijuana trade association representing businesses in Canada. CMMLP envisions a world in which local, Provincial, and Federal laws protect medical marijuana businesses, and patients are able to receive safe access to quality medicine. « less

They are starting....
this is where they try and have a say at the regulatory level...and guide the legislation....in their favor of course....
they will never represent the views of medical patients,,,,ever.....
you will see normal also try and play a roll soon.....says my magic ball...that's when the real hypocritical shit
hits the fan.....
These are the real enemies of marihuana..law reform....they will do their best to lock up all the rights to this plant
so that we can not ever grow for ourselves...
all you have to do is do some reading in the American forums to see where this is leading,,,,

There is quite a few here that are...
Not one person I know is. I've seen what tilray is selling and was unimpressed. And from the story's and pics everyone on here is posting of their orders from other lp's I'm not going to start using any of them. The biggest reason people would go to a lp over a dispensary or the bm is fear. Must be sad to live like that. If anyone is unsatisfied with their lp and want to hear about my experiences with using the mail order services several of the big name dispensarys send me a pm.

What has any LP done to "protect the rights of medical marijuana patients."? Anyone? Didn't think so. They sided with HC in trying to fuck over mmar patients. If they want to try to get rich off of the backs of the sick, that's one thing, but don't try to bullshit us with the protecting the patient crap. They are protecting their investors and that is their ONLY concern.

Ya no shit now the asshole greedy LP's ban together when moneys on the line. If these greedy assholes wanted to protect patients rights they would have never even thought of signing up as an LP. To all you LP's and wannabes out there FUCK YOU!!!!

The LP's could have a much better public image if they had used business sense over greed. When all this first came about, they should have supported the patients right to grow their own, joined the good team, instead of kissing HC's ass. What kind of business would start by pissing off a large portion of their customer base, and advocating for a captive consumer? Common sense says you want to connect positively with all potential customers, listen to what they want and provide it. Even if it changed nothing at HC, supporting patients right to grow would have demonstrated a willingness to protect patients rights. What if they lobbied HC to force every LP to provide compassionate pricing for those unable to pay? That would be a strong effort in protecting patients rights. What if they actually offered quality medicine that was available when it's needed, rather than forcing patients to risk criminal charges buying from reliable sources. Unless you are a shareholder, the LP is not your friend.

Health Canada wouldn't approve a lp, if they were going to stir the pot and not kiss their ass. How do you think the current lp's got approved? A certain amount of tongue to bum action must occur. It they cared at all they'd sell non iridiated high quality bud for $2-5 a gram. Theyd still make huge profits. sick people wouldnt have to choose between meds and everything else they have to buy each month to live. Untill a lp can do that fuck them all.

Gotta love the whole protecting patients rights. LOL At this point it's about as old as hearing reefer madness rhetoric. "Maybe if we keep repeating it, it'll come true!" Keep dreaming you LP shitbags, only reason they're banding together is they see their ships sinking and they don't want to drown alone.Wouldn't surprise me if they fight tooth and nail to keep patients rights to grow forever out of the equation now. Given the losses garnered during this whole cluster fuck of a system has launched.

That and having spent millions on unsuccessful businesses, it's easier to surround yourself with like minded people than address the problem directly. Treating patients as customers first. Tsk Tsk Ya done fucked up boys. Now they need to band together and form a team, to try and protect their investors and their investments. Once thats all sorted though THEN they can focus on the cust......errr patients.

Gotta say I'm pretty happy with my lp... They sent me ten free grams with my last order not to mention it's some of the nicest medicine I have seen or used in quite some time.

However.. I still feel that lps should be available to those who wish to use them. They shouldn't be the only option. People can't afford that shit.. And let's not forget that most lps are sending trash fucking shwag.

I am hoping and praying that in February the courts see how fucked up and unconstitutional this discrase of a LP system is.

How only the people that are financially better off can afford medicine leaving the people who need the medicine the most (people on disability or end of life patients) left with no legal options to relieve there illness. Fucking disgusting!!! Then the LP's will really be fucked. Assholes!!

Peace

No reason meds can't be affordable and profitable.
Definitely. If they charged half as much they would probably sell 10x more because the market would be opened up to people who previously couldn't afford it. I have several friends who also go through L.Ps and none of them can buy their full amount through an L.P. I also have a few friends who just buy BM weed for a quarter of the price. I joined my local CC yesterday. Selection was pretty weak but what they did have was wicked. OG ghost train haze #1 is a definite winner!

Washington and Colorado also give patients for medical use the right to grow for themselves. The rec users are the ones paying most of the high prices. IMO in Canada patients are forced in to the LP system.

Sure would be nice if they did that here. This would make almost everyone happy I would think.
