Hello guys!

Reserving this space for the future. I am working on getting my new lowkey setup with a bunch of good autos:

Setup:

Custom built room with ventilation carb wash, the works.
1 500W Grow Ballast umbrella
2 400 W FLORO Veg
8-10 plants in grow, 5-6 veg (mix autos with grow and veg).

Strains:

Up in the air, beans should be getting here in the next few weeks.

Looking at some Autopounders (cheese me), and others like 60 day lemon and some good corhns high CDB content stuff Supreme Haze (phenome).

This grow will be done through the grace of sponsors, and I will be documenting EVERYTHING so you folks will know how it grows from pop to finish.

CHECK BACK HERE FOR THOUGHTS AND UPDATES

The 60 day lemons are all ugly mutants 3 crept for the one slowly growing outside.

In these latest pic here are 2 Mataro Blue (the lovely looking ones) 1 X Supreme haze (which had a 2/5 germ ratio) finally coming out after an extra special germination.....

And then the 60 day lemon mutants.... All of these kept under the same 24/7 Floro veg light. (It's high quality).

I am going to say at this point I am not impressed with 60 day lemon. The ones growing inside are ugly mutants, and the one outside looks GREAT but all these seedlings except for the Supreme haze are at 18 and 24 days respectively. I had another 60 day mutant in 12/12 flowering room, and it looked about ready to croak so brought took it outside in hopes of reviving it.

Now the good news. Kannabia's Mataro Blue is amazing. I've germed another and potted it today along with a second supreme haze that finally took!!!

No pics of the flowering room for now will show pics of my soon to be harvested "Green lantern" shortly..

How did you germinate them? I saw a coffee filter up in the first post, but it didn’t look wet enough, try a paper towel in tuperware so it won’t dry out ’n dud yah

While gardening outdoors this year I figured the best thing to do with one of the 60 Day Lemon seeds would be to plant it then put it outside since we get a very early spring here. The weather is very respectable outside with temperatures ranging from 40-80 degrees per day/night Fahrenheit. Under this I thought I was safe to assume that seedling would be fine outside. While it does look amazing, it looks very very YOUNG. It's going at a snails pace, and I am pretty sure that it will not be done in any length of time near 60 days. With the current indoor slate looking like a bunch of mutants, I have decided to bring this pristine looking slow 60 day lemon inside from outdoors and putting it under a HPS 24/7. I am hoping that this will help speed it along because at this point the Mataro Blue, which was planted almost two weeks AFTER the 60 Day lemon is looking much better.

So far this is how it looks with NO NUTES, NO FERT, Pure 12/12 sunlight as the hours for the sun are currently 12/12. Sadly I do not want to sacrifice this plant for the sake of seeing through the outdoor experiment through. If any other of the 4 germed 60 day lemons looked proper and normal i would leave it there, but as it stands this may be the only plant with any significant yield what so ever of the batch. I am saving the final bean for a bit later to see if it helps but as of yet I am skeptical. Here is to hoping that this one is a good Pheno and produces for me. I don't care if she even autos or not.

The way I germed them was putting a WET coffee filter into a pill bottle, that method gave me 2/3 success. I tried 3 inside of Rockwhool with 0/3 success and the rock whool was good, the 60 day lemons came up out of it fine. It was not a good batch of beans, one of them peeked a tail, and stopped growing, when trying to see if the shell was too hard I didn't sequeeze at all and it oozed out, just a dud. I assume thats what happed to the rockwhool too. I did get 2 taproots out of the 6 beans though and 1 seedling coming up with another put in today.

  • I am such a fucking moron...

This problem isn't a problem with 60 Day Lemon Genetics, it was a my problem all along. As my primary grow op is far away from me, I get to mess with it maybe once a week or so? Well as it turns out the Rockwhool used to germinate the 60DL was for cloning -- surrounded in plastic. Yesterday as I was blazing and talking to my babies I started thinking of what I could have done wrong to cause them to be so fucked up. Eventually after a few minutes I thought about my germination method, and since they weren't doing to well decided it was worth the risk to uproot them and check.

My suspicions turned out to be right. The rockwhool cube basically crumbled to dirt as I touched it, not moist at all and there were NO ROOTS coming out of the cube. I slowly peeled off layer after layer of the cube to find only a few small sprout roots inside the cube period. The cubes were bad. I hopefully rescued one, and the mutant in the top looks like it beat the bad cube and started going fine on its own. Lesson learned and never using rockwhool cubes again. I knew something had to be up and I have figured it out. I am restarting the clock on the 60 day lemon. Today is now day one again for these that were in the cubes.

Because I was angered, I got a second 400W MH/HPS combo and brought the outdoor 60DL inside putting it under 18/6 with some Supreme Haze and Mataro Blue. I wasted too much time because of my mistake, and have only 2 Mataro and 1 supreme that will be ready to soon go into the flower room. Now that I have the second setup, it should speed things back up to my original schedule for out-door... My April 10 harvest on 60DL however is now kaput. Shame though as I was hoping to be able to smoke it on 4/20. Pics inbound on the next post. Also keep track of my journal for information on everything not just the 60DL.

Here are some pictures of the Mataro Blue that are around day 20 Vegging under CFL 24/7. (400W). I am expecting the Mataro that I will be putting straight into a MH setup to go way faster than this, and possibly even over take it. That is alright though because I will be cloning the hell out of at least one of the ones vegging and topping the fuck out of the other one. Followed by that is the first germed Supreme Haze.. I lost track of what the time period was on this one after the first batch of seeds turned to goo rather than sprouting. It's at least a week old, maybe more under 24/7 CFL. Again the one I put straight into MH will go quicker, but for these I am in no rush.

Finally there are a few pictures of the Green Lantern nug I harvested. It's curing now but that bit got me super blitzed. Very head expanding and quick to react. I wish I had more of it to go with, but it took too long to flower and I am moving on to bigger better things like the Mataro :D

Alright, so last Friday I ordered a 400 W HPS/MH combo to add a secondary indoor grow. The day prior I germinated 1x Supreme Haze (Seed Supreme custom) and 1x Mataro Blue. Both had nice taproots by Saturday, and were above the ground on Sunday evening. Tuesday my setup arrived and I put it in, finally moving the plants over yesterday from outside currently have them in a 18/6 MH setup dimmed to 200W.

I moved the outdoor 60 Day Lemon inside, and I am hoping for the best over the next week, hopefully some massive growth assuming that all this time it has been growing some nice roots under the sun. In the pictures, the Mataro Blue is the seedling with the longer wider leaves.

At this point updates on these three should come a whole lot more frequent, as they are closer than my other grow. I am still pissed I lost so much time already, but I am sure I can make up for it in a few weeks. Right now, I am kind of thinking of the nutrients that I want to put into the soil. I know for sure I don't want any man made chemicals, so will more than likely get organic stuf like shell castings and guano. Here is my new hoping schedule on these ladies.

60 Day Lemon: It's already 1 month old, and hopeflully it has plenty of roots under the soil. It is not going to live up to its 60 day name unless it can flower completely in 30 days, which I highly doubt. It was likely my fault for keeping this strain outside when the temperatures were varying too wildly. Now it's severely stunted, but hopefully its nothing a week or so in the MH chamber can't fix. Hopeflly going from 12/12 varying temp sunlight to 18/6 warmer MH will bring this baby back to life and give me some good smoke in the next 50 days or so.

Mataro Blue: I have seen posts of them online growing huge with colas the size of a person's abdomen. Some people get as much as a POUND per plant. I am going to grow her in 18/6 for a week or two till she is big enough to begin training her. As soon as the 60DL begins to flower good I will switch the lights to 12/12 while topping/training her. I don't know how long she will take but estimates are p to 4 months depending? I hope its not anywhere near that long and I can get her done in 70 days.

Supreme Haze: The wildcard. There is NO information about this strain online period. Seed Supreme gave it to me just for that purpose and so how she develops, smells, looks and more is all up in the air right now. I am going to attempt training and topping her to get the best yield possible, but at this point not quite sure what to expect...

Grow is back on track now... such a waste of a month!

Things are progressing nicely here..

I think it may be safe to start putting time frames on the 60 Day Lemon.

In the days sine it's been transferred it has taken off like never before. I imagine the guano I pt in and the nutes are helping it tons. I am jst glad it is rebonding as it is...

The Mataro and the Supreme are doing FAR better under my 200 MH than they are doing nder my CFL system. My Supreme has over taken the supreme from the CFL system (blah). My Mataro has a long way to go though but it's gaining qickly. The way that it looks right now is the way the other looked at 2 weeks old, so.

No one ever answers this blog -- no comments or nothing come on folks gimme input :\
