I know by law they have to give you 24hrs notice before they come into the premises unless you signed something. Your best bet is to get a squirrel fan they are nice and quiet and then user a charcoal filter to keep the smell down. Set your timers for night time to turn everything on, Your best bet is to put your exhaust fan on a switch so if he comes over just flick the switch and everything turns off lights, fans, exhaust etc....

Whatever quiet fan you get will still need to be vented outside of the closet. The best way is to cut a hole in the ceiling. You can cut a 4 inch round hole, and keep the 4 inch round circle of wallboard that you remove. When you move out, just remove the fan, and putty that circle back in there.

Barring altering anything, you could buy a different closet door, cut your exhaust hole in it, and replace the door with the original when you leave.

where can i find an inline inductor fan and how difficult would it be to wire it, or does it just come with a plug, also where can i buy the charcoal filter. after i install the fan will i need to have some sort of carb for circulation or would it be ok if i keep the oscillating fan turned on and the door slightly ajar?

Do some web shopping for fans. You'll learn everything you need.

Filters are more likely to be found at hydro shops, or you can make your own, and rollitup recently wrote a tutorial on it.

Yes, exhaust fans do their job, and oscillating fans do theirs. Plants like to have air blowing on them some of the time, but never constantly.

When you remove air (exhaust) from a space, you must provide a place for fresh air to be sucked into the space. The general rule is to have twice as much area open, as you are removing. IOW if you are blowing out a 4-inch duct, then you should have at least 2 4-inch holes (or equivalent area) that are open for fresh air to go in.

You can easily see if you don't have enough area for fresh air to come in by listening to your exhaust fan motor. If it sounds like it's straining, it will go up and down in pitch a little, and you know that you need a bigger opening. If that fresh air opening is your door, then it will have to be open whenever the exhaust fan is on.

about how long should i wait to induce flowering from seedlings, will 12-12 light cycles be ok for the seedlings... i have a 12 inch female that i want to keep growing before i bud her, and their all on the same timer :(

i use induce flowering when my plants are around 18" to 24". usually takes about 6 weeks. 12/12 would not be ok for seedlings, their just going to go straight into flowering. if you want her to get bigger than just keep on vegging her.

well my female has already started budding because she was outside so i think if i reduce the light anymore than 12 12 she'll die?

Yeah, give the plants you want to keep vegging 18 hours of light per day.

Give flowering plants 12 hours of light. No more, no less.

You need to plan when to switch your plants to avoid too tall growth. Seed plants will triple in height after switched to 12/12. So if you can have a 3 foot tall plant at finish, switch when it is 1 foot tall.
