Because I messed up on my light third of my Grow Foxtailed and the ones that did have looser Buds.

The others are good Buds.

Over time will they get tighter?

Probably will not tighten. Snip them and let the lower buds take charge. If you want tight buds. I smoked some loose buds and they still got me high.

Cut them off at trim and throw them in with the larf, or smoke them. I cant say for certain if they will get tighter after the cure.

I have a bad habit of over lighting my plants, one strain in particular is very prone to foxtailing, but it grinds up and smokes all the same.

Thats something that ive been through a long time ago. Some one left the normal rooms lights on. Basically all the top third of the plants were going into reveg. The buds had all stretched out and eventual new shoots and leaves would of started growing out of them had it not been cought in time. You could harvest the branches that are lower wen ready and let the rest develop under the proper flowering light cycle. They will eventually fill out and look like the other
normal bud lower down did. But you've basically reset the internal clock, so it will take a couple weeks to snap out of going into reveg and then a completely new bloom cycle will take over and push out new bud and complete your 8-10week (or what ever they flowering time was on your strain) from the beginning again. Everything stretched out will fill in, its just a pain as the whole thing will take longer to get to finish properly

Pretty sure you're talking about a separate issue.
