Not going to bother making threads as people pick out anything negative to say here. Everyones got a huge dick and something smooth to say, I had a serious question but forget it.

Hey guys, I figure there are a lot of people from colorado on here. I currently live in a non med state in the midwest. I enjoy it out here everyone is so fucking helpful, but my next POSSESSION ticket nonetheless cultivation is a felony. I want to go to school out there as well. I have a very easy job with a very very reputable company but I dont enjoy my job at all and couldnt imagine doing that my whole life.

I wanted to try a job at a headshop or whAtever trimming buds even to start out. Itd be a drop in pay but worth it.

Any tips on where to look for apartments?

Will it be hard to get a job at the medicinal stores?

How do the schools down there work with relatively poor future students?
good luck affording an apartment on a $12 an hour trimming job.

You made a thread to say you're not going to bother making threads? Your queries may be better answered if you did not start by poisoning the well...

Poisoning the well (or attempting to poison the well) is a rhetorical device where adverse information about a target is preemptively presented to an audience, with the intention of discrediting or ridiculing everything that the target person is about to say. Poisoning the well can be a special case of argumentum ad hominem, and the term was first used with this sense by John Henry Newman in his work Apologia Pro Vita Sua (1864). The origin of the term lies in well poisoning, an ancient wartime practice of pouring poison into sources of fresh water before an invading army, to diminish the attacking army's strength.

Colorado is a tough place to break into the cannabis market exactly because everyone is moving here to get involved.

Better to find a state that doesn't have the history and that you think will be legalizing 'soon', then get your ducks in a row to be ready for when it happens.

Colorado is a great place to live, work, go to school and raise a family. You may find yourself in the normal economy but that's not so terrible either.

@UncleBuck can be abrasive at times, but he was speaking the truth about the high cost of housing in an economic boom. As bad as it is in Denver, it's even worse in many places along the Front Range.

My advice is to get here, get connected with a good network, get a job in a field that you already have some skill in and then work your way into the industry.

Thanks dude I really appreciate it. I dont want to start up a shop or Anything, Please dont chastise this next comment but I was looking at getting into criminal justice (not a cop) but then you get hardcore drug tested. I just want to get a job in the MJ business for now while I go to school. I didnt realize it was so expensive to live there. I wanted to do a rent to own type deal...can you get 2br in decent area for 750?

Once again thanks ty.

Maby I should look elsewhere as I dont want to struggle extra hard to pay rent\mortgAge while going to school. I have a great job, even has its own tv show but its not for me. School would be good for me, how should I start my research on housing? Im just very amateur when it comes to this. I can barely legally drink.

good luck affording an apartment on a $12 an hour trimming job.

A lot of trimmers get $8.50 an hour.

The average rent in Denver and within 10 miles of Denver for a 1 bedroom shit hole is $1350.

Let's say he is talented and gets $10 an hour.
8 hours a day, about 23 days a month that is $1840 before taxes.
After taxes it would be hard to afford a shit hole, much less food.

What corporations?
Look around the room you are in and count all the stuff that was not made by a corporation.
My corporation gives away more money than it takes into groups like Freedom Service Dogs and the Platte Forum.

That's why the wastoid burnout loser needs $15 an hour. At least! He's earned it by being a complete loser!

norcal is getting dangerous, who knows how much longer the outdoor growing is even going to last with the drought in cali. you think its going to be the same 10-20 years from now? even the towns off the 101 have turned into tweaker towns. ive heard stories from people getting trim jobs out there and getting killed since you trim bud in the middle of fucking no where. nobody can hear you and nobody can save you.
