Looking for SHORT Growing Strains That are Best for (Migraine) Pain

SOOOO many strains out there, difficult to even know where to begin looking for new strain for my next grow.

Any advice on some good short growing photoperiod, feminized strains (tent is only 5' tall), that are good for intense pain (migraine)?

Also is it even possible to SCROG, LST, HST a tall sativa dominant strain in such a small space, I have the net (just not the skills) and have just avoided growing sativas because of the height limitation but would like feedback from others on if it can still be viable to grow a sativa in a tent that is only 5' tall?

Short answer is YES you can grow a sativa in a short space. Some ideas include going 12/12 from germination, or if you have clones, flip them as soon as they are rooted, then use a SCROG either way. You really have to abuse them to keep them in a small space-lots of supercropping and tying down but it's possible. Some short flowering sativas off hand that I can think of are Serious 6 from serious seeds, also Congolese sativas (and some African sativas in general) tend to be short flowering-Ace has some Congo strains, not sure how long they take. Kali China from Ace isn't a pure sativa but it has very sativa like effects, and it's a great medical strain. Another good one is the old 90s strain called Warlock, also from Serious Seeds-it's an indica type plant but with a very "up" high. I also keep a CBD strain in my stash box and tend to mix a little of it into a bowl at night. I have a seizure disorder and related migranes and these strains all help. But honestly, I would focus more on quality than on just a short flowering strain...you might put a few more weeks into it, but the results will really pay off in the end. MOST IMPORTANT is to be sure you grow whatever strain you pick to perfect ripeness-that's when the good medical effects come in. I'll take a look, I've heard of Warlock before but don't know much about it.

Since growing only Indica though I've come to like it more then most Sativas because I don't really like the head high and all the anxiety that goes along with it for me, so if you know any good Indica strains for pain I'd appreciate any info.

Durban poison or powerplant proly fit the sativa/ anti migraine bill maybe worth a look also you ever considered micro dosing? Many who suffer from cluster headaches migraines etc tend to find very low below threshold dosages of lygersamides to be effective im pretty sure even the inactive(non psychoactive) family members of lygersamides had even showed promise from some old research in the 60s before illegality hit think it was a 2-bromo lygersamide derivative in that case

Interestingly enough over the last 20 years of trying all variety of drugs and therapies cannabis has been the only drug that's given me any relief at all. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't cure a migraine, but it lets me focus the pain into one spot which is easier to cope with and the sedating effect is good because being unconcious is pretty much the only escape from a migraine until it's over for me.

I'll take a look and yes it was recently that I tried giving psilocybin microdosing a chance of 200mg every 3 days. But it didn't help at all, if anything made things worse and it didn't help my depression either. I might give it another try sometime but I stopped because I didn't like it. If only I had a lab to synthesize lysergamide analogs in.

I can sometimes abort a migraine if I catch it soon enough with an OTC that has Naproxen in it, but there's also a chance it won't help and that I will get a rebound migraine after the current one is over that's worse then the current one so usually I don't take any OTC NSAIDs. Ibuprofen can also be helpful, but APAP and ASA are useless to me.

There around and easily found these days just not the non psychoactive ones but the likes of 1plsd and ald52 can be found online no problem tho im sure they even sell them in 25ug blotter form for micro dosing

My in house dolato I was running had this pheno that had almost no stretch. Finished in 56- 60 days flat and yielded awesome as well. Also had great potency. Dolato- gelato 41 x dosidos.
Here's one plant after stretch, it didn't grow any taller than this...same pheno in the backround.. pics are all the same pheno, for some reason this one plant grew like this, all they other dolatos(same exact pheno) didn't get the big either but grew bigger than this one, would be a great strain for tent growers with limited height-

I've never had much luck using weed for migraines, usually I have to catch them early and knock them out with aleve and caffeine. Do you have a general idea of what works better for you, sativas or indicas? Bubba Kush and Sunshine Daydream have always been the most therapeutic for me (in my 30s and need a knee replacement) but not much relief for headaches but they may help you.

Fentanyl seemed to really do the trick on my migraines recently...


But not worth it the withdrawls were HELL-ish
