Looking for any info on Kannibia La Blanca

I have never tried an autoflower strain before but I got a La Blanca bean as a freebie with my last order from the Tude... I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this strain and what you can tell me about growing it.

I am a complete noob when it comes to this whole autoflower thing... had never heard about it until recently! So yeah, I am pretty green. (no pun intended!)

I got the same freebie, but I don't think it's an autoflower. I believe Kannabia calls their auto's Automatica or something like that. Not saying you didn't get the auto but check your order to make sure because as far as I know everyone gets the same freebies. Just trying to save you the trouble, sorry if I'm wrong.

They do have an Auto variety as well,, but it's called LaBlanca Automatica

Thanks for the info on the beans guys. If anyone has any experience with these, I am still interested in hearing what you thought about them and how they are to grow.

One of my frequently visited sites, very handy for genetics- glad you like it, too.

I got the La Blanca Automatica as a freebie. Grew it out along with a couple other autos and a few photoperiod strains at same time. WAS NOT AN AUTOFLOWER!! Didnt show sex till I flipped to 12/12 and flowered for 8.5 weeks. It grew very much like my Nirvana White Widow. Even smelled almost the same (a very floral fragrance) . Not as big a yielder as the widow but still some very respectable smoke!

Use no larger than five-litre plant pots.• Use a photoperiod of 12-14-16 hours of light for faster results (OUR BEST RESULTS WERE OBTAINED WITH 12/12 and 14/10 PHOTOPERIODS). If you leave it at 18 hours, you will have to stop feeding with growth fertiliser after two weeks and force the plant to flower, leaving it in darkness for 24–48 hours and then resuming the photoperiod. In any case, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING OUR AUTO-FLOWERING VARIETIES WITH PHOTOPERIODS OF OVER 16 HOURS, AS THE PLANTS WILL TAKE A LONG TIME TO END THE PROCESS, TENDING TO GROW TO A HUGE SIZE AND RISKING GROWING BEYOND THE GROWER’S CONTROL.
• Use high-pressure sodium lamps.
• Good results can also be obtained by switching from a longer photoperiod to a shorter one (for example, reducing from 20 hours to 12–14 hours to stimulate flowering and accelerate the process).
