What's up riu. I'm new to growing outside and know a couple of ppl locally in my parts of Texas that always have hell with there plants. So I was wondering if anyone could recommend any strains that do really well with high heat and high humidity ? Usually the ppl I know around here have bad problems with mold and slugs. I'm hoping I can fined a nice hardy strain I won't have to go and check as often next year. This will also be my first gorilla grow so any pointers would be greatly appreciated thanks

I always liked doing sativas outside in Texas.
I'd start everything inside and not plant outside till it starts to cool down. I'm not sure what part you live in but I used to wait till mid-late July. It gets so damn hot. But good thing it stays warm so late. Had plants going in December there haha.

Nirvana's Papaya is a pretty resistant plant that finishes fast so you don't have to worry about it late season while everything else finishes

Or if you're so inclined, you could do autos and get a few crops out of the season. And then just not grow during the hottest part of the season and avoid a lot of the humidity/heat issues

I'm growing in NW Florida, and have many of the same problems. I'm going to try a spring crop, then wait until late in the year to do my full seasons. All of my late transplants are doing better than the earlier ones anyway.

Slug and snail bait is cheap. Just add it to your shopping list. You can spray with Neem throughout veg and a couple of weeks into flower. I only had mold and bud rot on plants with worms this year.
