Long flowering? When to chop?

My plant has been flowering since Jan. 21st and still looks not done. The flowering time shows 7-8weeks and today is week 12 of flowering what the hell. Why is this thing taking so freaking long. How much longer is this going to need before I can chop?

Can't tell by the pics, take some close-up/macro shots of the buds and may be able to help. If she's not finishing typical reasons for extended finish are late hermies, root bound, and nute lock-out

It's difficult for me to get good pictures in the flowering room because next to that plant is a 6 foot tall sativa that pokes me and causes issues for me taking pictures I will try to get some better ones but I thought those were pretty good for my situation :(

Reason I asked for close ups was to see the trich development, not sure how you're judging readiness but I go strictly by colour of the trichs, anything else is irrelevant imo

root bound shortens flower time not extends...
it's actually really effective, especially when growing heavy sativas like I do

Could it have to with the plant just being healthy? Its really healthy nice lookin nugs growing slowly each day bulking but taking so long maybe just a different phenotype than my other seeds....

what do you mean "the flowering time shows 7-8 weeks?" are you counting that as the time she started showing pistils/flowering? are you saying she was put in 12/12 twelve weeks ago, and didn't start doing flowering for four weeks? sorry for my confusion! :peace:

except it looks like crap. I would water with ro water the next week and back the lights off, then harvest. all the hairshave turned for the most part anyway

in seeds u can get some that go way longer then they say.. also.. start counting flowerin from the first signs of budset instead of from the day u put into 12/12.. usually after the stretch is Done.. is when i count Day 1.. an so far.. im seeing flower times match up with what they say on the packages.
