Lollipop or leave alone?

So I'm kind of lost atm. As much as I'd love to, Being that it's my first grow, I don't have the space/ funds to take on clones. But I also want the most out of my plants when they start to flower. I know some people lollypop to make the plant focus on the top buds, instead of wasting energy on the smaller popcorn buds. I have 2 plants that I've only fimed at the top and the other plant is like my experiment and I'm fiming tf out of every top.

Anyways I've seen different times of lollypopping but I rather do it before the flowering stage. Just so it's not stressed out when it should be focusing on buds. But what's a good time for this? 2 weeks before flowering? Should I just leave them alone?Flowering day for me is going to be week 5, dec. 31st. Flowering w/ 400w hps

i would say do not lollipop them, use another method of training like super cropping them more, then reveg later on with the bottom bud sites that you will have from not lollipopping...
