Living in CO, trying to find a place to grow

I'll probably be able to start my 3x3 tent anyway, since I'm staying with momma until I can find a place to move where I can grow. I'm paying some rent and all that, we'll probably work out an agreement with a yes or no about growing pretty soon, but of course, no 24 year old really wants to live with their mom again. It'd be worth it if I could have a veg and a flower tent, but just one tent? That's madness, I say! Madness!
That, and she doesn't let me smoke flowers in the house, only concentrates.

I'm having a really difficult time finding houses though. Can't grow in multifamily units, so no apartments. duplexes aren't really allowed either but I kind of doubt they get a lot of unwanted maintenance guys and property managers coming through, I know it's gonna depend a little bit on who's in charge.

Just wondering, anybody have any ideas? I mean, I COULD just throw my tents up in any place I move, but I really don't wanna get fucked over one day because the dishwasher isn't working and some maintenance guy sees my tents. I've responded to two ads on craigslist so far just straight up asking them if they'll let me grow legal plants. Do you, the reader, think being straight up open about it would be a good course of action, or is that more likely just putting my emails in the trash? Must one own a home to grow?

Or, anybody in North CO (ft collins area) looking for a roommate? I'm a quiet, 24 year old male, non-drinker, outdoor cigarette smoker working on quitting, and spend about half of my time at work and half at home. upper ceiling for rent would be about 600 maximum

Or, one last shot in the dark here, would anybody in Fort Collins that's had success growing without being bothered in an apartment mind sending me a PM?
