My question is i got some seeds that just sprouted when should i give them nutes they r on distilled water only

Sprouted in rockwool? Was the rockwool soaked with any nutes? how much has it sprouted so far? any roots?

I give nutes from the beginning.

Yeah they have them stored in the starting leaves, but as long as its a low dose, like 1/16th bottle recommendation you won't notice any ill effects. Why wait until you see the plant losing nutrients? Just keep em there for when they need em.

I've never given little babies any nutes at all, in all my 15 years of growing (15 years outdoor/2.5 indoor) and I've never had an issue with deficiency early enough to warrant adding nutes but also, I'm not using RO water and my city water supply has a decent amount of solids in it already so that could be why my results differ from yours.

I suppose in the end, whatever you feel most comfortable with, after experience and education on the topic, is right.

I soak my rockwool in about 150ppm of nutes because the first time I didn't the seedlings started turning yellow and shitty pretty fast. The cotyledon leaves should be able to feed the plant until the 2nd pair of leaves form and the seedling gets some roots planted. After that, you need nootz.
