OK, I was hasty to call him a troll and retract that one but the dude is always busting on my posts. Anyway, People are people and there are no two alike so, I'll drop it.

:peace:
Not to worry big pauly I kinda thought we were all sorta working together in an effort to network our problems with HC but apparently there are a few on the patient forum believing that some are more deserving of mmj than others since their circumstances to get it were not tainted by money.
Ps my doc won't even sign a note for less than 25 bucks.
Any how big Pauly thank you and sorry for interrupting your original thread. I usually try my best to stay out of the bickering

I never intended to pay for my prescription i was merely passed along by my family dr who agreed that my many years of treatment for chronic nausea has been useless as the pills i was shoving into my mouth. But he claimed he didnt know enough about cannabis to prescribe and i wasnt going to be the one to educate him or wait for him to educate him myself. I was at the point that if he wasnt going to prescribe me i was going to dr shop until i found a dr who would prescribe cannabis. keep in mind i live in a village of 1500 people with only 1-2 drs. 5 hours drive away from the only city you will find decent medical care within the next 20 hours. He wanted to prescribe the cannabis but claimed he could not but knew a dr who would with his blessing. who is doing the wool pulling ? why was my dr okay with the prescription but only if his name wasnt attached ? this is the shit people have to put up with no matter what illness they have. your opinion is irrelevant and ignorant gb

Nicely worded. I rarely even leave a question or answer in these forums but because the Skype date is so soon and these Lp's and their deceptiveness, I'm just trying to learn as fast as you guys how to go about this MMPR crap.

A Doc that charges you 20? Must be for lunch or a bit of gas for his car. lol

Cheers!

Thanks for the info, friend. The thing with my doc is that she's in BC and I'm in Ontario. I payed the 400 but I'm quite sure it's for only one LP. If you know different, I'm listening, er reading.

Thanks
I found this somewhere on the net,
Good news, you are not limited to only one LP! The MMPR does makes it sound as if you can only have one LP at a time. Section 3, line 126 is titled, “26. Prohibition — obtaining from more than one source”. But if you read line 126, it states, “It is prohibited to seek or obtain dried marihuana from more than one source at a time on the basis of the same medical document.” (Emphasis mine). What this means is that you cannot take your paperwork from one LP and use it to order from a second LP as well. But this doesn’t mean you are limited to only one Producer, nor does it mean you have to leave your current Producer to try a new one. It only means you need separate paperwork for each LP you choose. So you either need to take separate paperwork for each Licensed Producer you would like to purchase medical marijuana from at one time, or you need to return to your healthcare specialist/doctor and have them sign new forms for a new Producer.

and really why put the responsibility with the patient....they should only need to send a copy of the document....and retain the original to re-use at the patients discretion
to which ever lp or lp's they choose....and the onus should be on the producers to make sure that the orders are traceable and track-able since they also are the ones that gain monetarily
from the whole process...
If pharmacies can keep track so can LP's
There is absolutely no reason a Patient should have to pay a doctor for multiple times for multiple prescriptions in order to ensure a good ,safe and steady supply of medicine.....because at least for now LP's can not be counted on to do the job thoroughly and without problems....
when said patient already may have had that system taken care of for themselves under the MMar

that was discussed many times. best is to get your script split up, so if you were 9g/day have it split in 3 for 3 scripts of 3g/day.
that would allow you to have 3 LPs servicing you.

One of the MMPR problems is it doesn't deal with a patient searching all of the LP's
product and trying them to see if indeed it helps their medical issues. sad if you deal
with an LP and their "medicine" doesn't do the job for you. not to mention will the
"medicine" de the SAME upon every purchase?

I'm sure doctors really want to have to fill out 15 different medical documents just so a patient can try out all the LPs (if they can even find a doctor), sounds totally efficient. Not to mention the numerous tax/shipping charges you would accumulate ordering from multiple LPs, no problem there at all, especially when most people can't afford the MMPR to begin with. This whole system is completely FUBAR.

I will find out more about this as it is an issue that most patients will be facing and post my findings. Choice is very important and patients cannot be restricted to one producer

Will the medication be the same? Winter or Summer the climate is perfect in each of the rooms here at Green Medical. There is no experimenting with different grow techniques. I have everything dialed in to perfection and I repeat every step all year round and produce the same results every time. I know the strains and their feeding preferences. Perfect flush every time with a nice white ash that doesn`t go out. All the terpenes are preserved in the gentle curing process and the plants are hand trimmmed with care. Each batch will be tested THC and CBD and reporting the current batch results as batches are released. No reporting old THC percentages from old batches. The chemotype determines the ratio of CBD to THC and is consistent with every grow. This guarantees test results will be over 1 to 1 CBD to THC ratio on all our CBD strains every time.

So just got off th phone with HC....turns out that you can get a script with as many lp's as you want and you don't have to split up your script. You just have to have a separate application. For each lp......this is awesome news
I was told that if I where to use more than one lp I just have to watch I don't go over my monthly script

Also just found out that we don't have to send in that destruction affidavit on the mmar cannabis

The more you know

LOL how many times have you called the govt/company to get wrong information..... just saying .... hope someone didn't feed ya a bullshit line to find out down the road they/your wrong.

Side note here, ensure you get a name/employee number and write down the time, always good to cover your bases especially with something that can have criminal charges put forth against you.
wouldn't hurt to ask where the information is written also, as policies have to be written and accessable

Rest assured HC will be reviewing patient's ordering history in the future. ( when the centralized data system is in place )

Can I ask you the name of the 'outfit' you work at? Looked threw QC and all I see is the club I belong to on Rachel St.

Thanks

I know. I didn't get his name. But I asked him to confirm again about the destruction order.

Has anyone else heard anything about the affidavit?

Last thing I need is some jacked up cop kicking my door down

Too funny....now HC says you're going to abide by the honour system.
Like Joy said earlier, I can't imagine doctors will be overly receptive to writing multiple documents.
