Limo's CXB3590 build

Interesting. I read someplace that there's a degradation of light with lenses, but not with reflectors. I suspect it depends on the quality of the lens.

Since I'm running the cheaper 3050's with less lumens would I benefit from using these lenses or is it just a waste of time?
You read correctly; there's a loss from lenses because light must pass into and then out of a different material. Reflectors don't get in the way.

Since your chips will be overhead, I see a low risk of damage- just be careful to keep the nozzle tip down when you spray your plants.

Great build and beautiful ladies!
How many watts of HID did you run in the past, and how do you feel about this run with the new light?
In the past I've ran as much as 10000w of HPS with a mix of 1000s & 600s. I don't run near that now...like 3200w present day. I feel pretty good being a first run. Should've vegged under the COBs a week or 2 before flipping but otherwise no regrets.

I think a full on DWC would kill in this setup...I might do that next run. When funds allow I will build another.

I have never run that much a few 1000s and 600s.
That was when I was able to yield decently.
I think my growing skills are declining honestly.
My outdoor this yr was amazing though....till the Broad Mites ruined it.
Going small again till I hone my skills back and look to move to a place where the owner isnt on my @ss all the time.
For me LEDS are one more thing in my favor, less heat and more even coverage.

I know yours is gonna be good, just was making sure you didnt have unrealistic goals compared to a 1000W light.

I'll be putting that to the test, very soon.

If you'd like some tips on inexpensive RDWC construction, I can offer some.
Bonjour
Offer please offer!...
@bassman999 what do you mean by irrealistic goals compare to 1000w hid!??...I don't get it!
It id not cheap and easy to pull gpw from a 1000w hid(electric costs a/c..vmc) and harder in soil
It is easier to get gpw and more from 1000w cob in 5x5...cobs grow better in every way (compare cob to hid is like compare a V4 mustang to a V8 one...it exist...for EU roads...Blasphemous...lol!
Have a great day ★

Most expensive part of any hydro is usually the water chiller no? I keep wanting to do some sort of hydro/aero but am intimidated by the res temp.
Bonjour
I guess the most expensive is the pump
It is ok for cuts...I only grow organic!
Amendments are a perfect match for cob Imo...this and blumat tropf...who call me lazy!??..who?...lol
Great results with few products (3)

Oh, Ford sold plenty of 4 cylinder Mustangs here in the States too, sadly...

If the only thing COBs did was distribute the light better, they would still be worth it. They do this and of course so much more.
