lighting options

i'm looking for some opions on lighting, for a 3.5'x5'x7' grow area.i was thinking of a single 1000w hps, or 600w hps with high output cfls on the 3 walls(back and sides). Or finally 2 sets of 600w. which is going to provide better lighting. I have limited power availible so multiple 1000's is not a option. Me likey big plants.

I'm gonna vote for the 600 with cfl side lighting, that should give the best overall coverage. Once you get some big plants in there even a 1000w-er won't penetrate through the canopy like having cfls close to the plants will, and heat would be an issue in that small a space imo, ditto for the pair of 600s.

i plan on vented lights so that should help with the heat

I'm sticking to my guns, for light coverage i think your best bet is gonna be the 600 with side lighting. Even a 1000w hps won't penetrate through much more than a foot of canopy, and you won't be able to make good use of all that height you have to play with. Theres little point having 5 foot plants that only have decent buds on the top foot or so is there?
