Light to intense?

Ok. I have 6 phantom commercial lights. Spread across a 14x15 area. The room is actually 14x19 but plants only using above area an lights setup to not pass 15ft... this is giving a 5x5 each light with little missing area on sides.

I have inline setup to cool room with outside air. Temps are mid 70s an room is alittle dry (no humidity check but leafs alittle dry feeling). They eat every 3 days. 2 gallons each with gh nutes. Been using gh for 4 yrs so i know its not my food. Been supplimenting some extra cal-mag just in case.

The plants are eating, they are growing new nodes but the leafs an general look do not seem happy. I started them under 1150w and turned them down to 1000w for 5 days now an still seem stressed. I just turned my back 4 lights down again to 750/800w (whatever 75% equates to).

Dont wanna start flower until i see open leafs uptop plants. I can say which is wierd i think anyways but the under growth of plants are growing great
Top growth, well look at the pics... this is why i was turning lights down more.

Oh yeah an lights are atleast 4ft from canopy.

Crazy, just measured now. 5'2" from bulb to top canopy with lights on 1000w. They were too intense for plants. I turned them down to 75% which is 750/800w i think around there.. anyways the plants are 100% happier. Leafs opened up more and new growth facing towards light.

Sucks cause i know 1000w setting should be perfect but i am not running co2, maybe if co2 was in my room i could run the 1000w setting.
