Light leaks caused re-vegging. Advice appreciated.

I had my babies in flower for about 3 weeks. I then moved them to a new grow tent and for approximately 10 days had a pretty good light leak that I discovered. Most ofthe plants started re-vegging. Some are vegging and still producing pistils. I immediately induced 24 hour dark period to initiate flowering again as of 6 days ago. My question is if anyone has advice on how to get these thugs proper again. Does anyone I've firsthand experience of what the final product is going to be? I've heard the product is terrible and takes longer as well as increased hermaphrodism. Thanks...

There are positive and negative stresses that you can put on a plant. Bright lighting and UVB stresses the plant into trichome production. Having your plants go from veg, to flower, to veg, to flower in a short time is not one of those positive stresses. Negative stresses can and will cause elongated flowering, hermies, strange bud formation, and lost potency.

I probably would have taken the plant out of flower and revegged completely. The process was under way already so it should have only been a few weeks longer until they were completely vegged.

Since you didn't do that I would just clip away any dead flowers and let it finish out. Cannabis is a resilient plant. I am sure you'll still end up with pretty decent smoke. Look for individual pollen sacs and if you find them remove them. If the plant hermies as a whole toss it out.

It depends on the strain. Some can handle the stress but most will hermie. The smoke should still be good. If you grew from regular seeds the hermies will polinate the rest of your babies and you will get regular seeds. If you grew from female seeds or female clones you get female seeds. Sometimes thats a good thing! Good Luck!
