I find they work for smaller bulbs but if you are using a reflector and large 85w up cfls, I think a reflector for each bulb is better. More reflection is good.

Yeah, they are commonly out of stock, each place only seems to order 4-5 at at time. Took me a few trips to Wal-Mart before the rack wasn't empty (and then I bought 'em all, lol). Same with the smallest air-pumps, air-stones, air-pump h/w kits, lantern glass, etc. Kinda funny/interesting.

For all of you who can't find some stuff like this, you can always go check on ebay. That's where I found most of my stuff.
Ok sure, if you start buying a whole kit on there, it might get a little suspicious if you live a very controlled country (US. no offense)
Otherwise, it's absolutely wonderfull!

I live in australia. For any ozzies out there thinking of getting one. I think you have to buy a a socket a adapter for it. E27 CFL bulb screw into those Y splitter and then you have to buy something like this http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m570&_nkw=E27+socket a ac power bulb socket so we can plug into our power strip.
im in oz too been spending half the day looking on the net for these... smallsn do you have one of these into a screw in batten?

CE cert. is probably the issue some europe people are finding them hard to buy locally. the certification cost more than the profit on such a small part. I know the ones i bought at lowes did have a CE cert. just a UL listing. JMO
