not sure if this counts... but ive noticed an extreme difference in gas mileage based on how long it takes you to accelerate to your desired speed. we all toke here, well mostly. it shouldnt be too hard for tokers to slow down! for instance: my buick with a 3.8 v6 gets 21 city 29 hwy on the sticker. i can squeeze a little above 40 mpg on a hwy if i start out correctly. about 30-33 mpg in the city if i take it super slow and roll up to intersections. but my car will freakin GO if u give it even half the pedal, then the MPG is is horrible. people in the u.s. forget this sometimes it seems, at least where i live , lol.
I remember something from driver's ed about driving like you have an egg between your foot and the gas pedal to get the best gas mileage.

ok here we go

The next time you have green onions, don't throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. Your onions will begin to grow almost immediately and can be harvested almost indefinitely. We just use kitchen scissors to cut what we need for meals. I periodically empty out the water, rinse the roots off and give them fresh water.

We've all have had our salad days, some more than others. Anyway, I thought about the little things that can make life easier without breaking the bank. I'm calling it - LifeHacks.

Like I used to fight with my shower curtain everyday. It just wouldn't slide on over easily. I'm short so this was a pain in the butt. Then I saw this shower curtain hook below. The darn thing slides like it was on softened butter. No more starting the day fighting that curtain. It's little things that can make a difference and they are usually cheap.

So the first LifeHack is the shower curtain hook that rolls. They do come with do-dads on them, this is just so you can see the rollers. They use these types in hospitals.

You'll think about this when you are fighting that shower curtain tomorrow.

Edit: cost about $10
I heard sliding doors work. i can see how that would work very well. its like ball bearings.

I used one of the hacks on the trip.

Lost the power cord for my phone. Went to the front desk of the hotel and they had a huge box of cords. Cha-ching! Felt like I got one over Verizon.

Used this hack today.

I had a hex nut that was loose on our trailer that is in storage and I didn't have a hex 'driver'. And since I didn't want to drive 3 miles back home for the correct tool. I took a small piece of foam rubber and placed it over the nut and used regular screw driver and IT DROVE THE NUT BEAUTIFULLY.

And yes, a pun was intended.

I've used this one a few times.. when couldn't find a lighter (to open the bottle).

Disclaimer: Be careful you don't scratch your paint, oh yeah and don't drink and drive kids.

SORRY winter i love you but bad bad idea, to get tangles out , you need to get a detangling comb its wide tooth comb, put conditioner in your hair let it sit for about 5-10 minutes start gently combing from the ends up.
