Just dont do it too much in the night...people will think your trying to signal them or something from across the street...pretty funny to c them trip out while you drive by them though
It works in the daylight??? I'm in the Fort Myers area now and the police are crawling all over. I haven't had the balls to try it here. The cops will use any excuse to pull you over. They had a cop on tv the other night that is known for pulling drivers over for 1 mph over the limit.

But I have to say as bad as some of these drivers are I can see why.

If you have a screw hole that's become too big to hold screws securely, you can jam a bunch of toothpicks in to shore it up again.

Great thread! Reminds me of "Viz" comics Top Tips

"PEOPLE not from London. Just start talking to strangers about random inane shite. They won't find it strange or annoying or anything."

Great recipe for making Chocolate Syrup. This saves a lot of money for a chocoholic like me. Plus, no preservatives.

Homemade Chocolate Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup organic sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, whisk together sugar and cocoa powder until most of the lumps are gone. Add water and salt and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently. Bring to a boil and cook for a few minutes, until thickened, continuing to stir frequently. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes, then add vanilla extract. Store in an air tight container in the fridge and enjoy within 2-4 weeks.
  • (To make chocolate milk, add 1 tablespoon of chocolate sauce to a cup of milk and stir until combined.)

Save it for the holidays! Nothing says "I am your close relative discharging my obligation to find a gift for you" than something cheap, cheesy and for the kitchen. cn
Hahaha, too late, I had to throw it in the dumpster. It was making my apartment smell like burnt toast and cheese.

For those inquiring minds, all this does is burn the shit out of the bottom of your toast, and the cheese sticks to the metal ermmm... thingys... and the bread is impossible to get out of the toaster.

This prolly already been posted but I don't feel like reading thru 74 pages lol.

There's some people on YouTube called Household Hackers, they post vids all the time about everyday problems.

Can't post vids really but you can check them out on YouTube....seen a infomercial about a book that has a shit ton of them too....but I can't remember the name...I'm so useless.

Well now, I'm just going to have to try this.
Sometimes it works, depending on the neighborhood and emergency vehicle traffic through it.
I have the wig wags on an 88 Caprice Classic, like the old patrol and trooper cars, and even that only works at some.
I think some of the newer lights are even tripped by a radio frequency from the emerg. vehicle. (not sure on that)

We've all have had our salad days, some more than others. Anyway, I thought about the little things that can make life easier without breaking the bank. I'm calling it - LifeHacks.

Like I used to fight with my shower curtain everyday. It just wouldn't slide on over easily. I'm short so this was a pain in the butt. Then I saw this shower curtain hook below. The darn thing slides like it was on softened butter. No more starting the day fighting that curtain. It's little things that can make a difference and they are usually cheap.

So the first LifeHack is the shower curtain hook that rolls. They do come with do-dads on them, this is just so you can see the rollers. They use these types in hospitals.

You'll think about this when you are fighting that shower curtain tomorrow.

Edit: cost about $10

What is a shower curtain..? I've got towels and a lino floor...
