First off, you have to under stand something, "ditch weed" is cannabis ruderalis, its usualy 100% ruderalis, and has VERY LOW production of THC.

cannabis ruderalis=hemp. its a simple as that.

basicly, C.ruderalis doesn't produce enough THC or CBD to get you high. dont go and pick it, if you do....post your headache and prove my point.

you gota look at it this way, whay isn't anyone else out there picking it? because those dumb enough to smoke it allready knows what it does.......
You haven't seen it, therefor you DO NOT know, so quit acting like you do.

the reason that nobody is picking it is because they probably aren't actively looking for it

dumb doesn't have anything to do with it. It may or may not be anything good, but who are you to say either way? It's like you're attacking the kid for wondering.

If it is Cannabis Ruderalis, then it won't be 8-9 feet tall. It may have some Ruderalis in it, but they don't typically grow very tall.

CHOP IT!!!:twisted::mrgreen::twisted::mrgreen:

Corbat, good info but does ruderalis produce trichs? I know thats where THC is produced in the heads of trichs. The wild stuff here gets pretty damn sugar coated. Whatever grows around here cant be 100% ruderalis, somehow its been bumped up over the decades.

it could have been naturaly bumped over but it suprises most people to find out that northern lights was actualy bred for hemp production in the early 1900's, yet its still one of the most widley grown marijuana strains on the face of the planet.........

100% ruderalis does not produce trich's, but with the active crossbreeding from marijuana people plant has lead to alot of wild , THC potent , auto-flowering ditch weed.....

makes perfect sense man, but yea this stuff here is far from 100% ruderalis then... but it most definatly has it in there.

If thats true what I have here is far from being straight ruderalis cuz this shit gets to 10 ft tall.

ruderalis is auto-flowering and get MAX 5 feet tall, and that a VERY leggy plant......

ruderalis averages 3-4 feet tall because it doesn't flower on lighting period, it flowers whenever the plant is mature (even under 24 hours of light).

with all the info given, i can definitively say its not a ruderalis. chop and smoke that mutha.

Where did you get this information? Source?

http://antiquecannabisbook.com/chap5/Patent.htm

this is a list of US government hemp patents, using the patent ID# you can find the individual patents, get great info for growing and educate yourself on marijuana production as it SHOULD, could and has existed......

i cant remember which patent it is exactly, but im sure its in one of these:
1920 1327533 Hemp brake
1920 1331526 Hemp brake
1920 1334262 Stripping Hemp
1920 1342771 Treating, scutching hemp
1920 1342772 Breaking, scutching hemp
1920 1345203 Drawing & spinning Hemp
1920 1351385 Elastic imitation hemp (Japan)
1920 1356740 Braking & scutching hemp
1920 1358907 Hemp brake

Cannabis grown for hemp is Sativa.
this is a common misconception, sativa hemp is grown for twine, and oil where as indica/ruderalis hemp is better for cloth and elastics. i suggest you read up on some of the pattents, you might learn something..... might also have a few more reasons to join the front lines in the war for legalization.

These are all patents for equipment, not Northern Lights.
