Pics 1-3 are of the main buds and they all appear to be swelling from the inside out even though the leaves are purpling halfway down the plants for the most part with some leaf curl, that growth appears to be pistils not a herm banana, though this is my first grow so idk. Im leaning towards letting them go the extra week but unless i miscounted the 31st is day 71 of flower. Is it going to do anything or am i just wasting a week that i could have used to dry the buds. Please vote in the poll if your going to respond. And oh yeah pic 4 is some popcorn buds that i want to know if theyd fill out any amount that matters in that extra week-10days, pic 5 is just to see them all.

New guy here too, have maybe 10 plants harvested under my belt (and some dead ones that didn't make it to harvest). I recommend you harvest some on the 31st and some later and see what you like the most. Fact is, your going to get 10 different (and strong) opinions on here. And the first grow is fun, but should really be a viewed as a learning experience. So experiment and learn! Well, my two cents worth anyway. Hey, its weed bro, do what feels right. :)

I'd say they look ripe and ready too, plus no, those popcorn buds ain't gonna swell that much more. Is more just up to you as per personal taste & stone preference.

i will just say that as rooster mentioned, you will get strong opinions from all angles here, as i grow for personal use only i sometimes harvest a little earlier than id like to make sure i keep myself supplied, with that said when i have a good supply stored up i like to let my plants go as long as possible as ive often seen buds triple their weight with a few extra weeks. I do agree with stipulus here that these are done seeing as you have more than 90% orange pistils though. If you wanna do a fun experiment that wont hurt anything then chop half now and leave the other half in the tent in complete darkness for 48-72 hours then chop that, also if you havent already id do a good flush on those to make sure you dont have any chems in your final product.

Yeah i have one thats way more purple than the others i might cut her down the 31st and let the other 3 go longer.. thanks for the input everyone

I personally wouldnt let them go longer under light, at this point you wont see anymore growth from that, however leaving them in complete darkness for 48-72 hrs will enhance trichome production and allow the buds to swell as they use up whats left in their pots. If you think this bullshit then just think about this- you never SEE your plants grow during the day, you might be able to see which growth is newest but you never physically see it grow during lights on, thats because during lights on your plant is at work storing as much energy it can, so that during lights out it can put that stored energy to work, this is why you can physically notice growth when checking your plants the following day. make sense?
