Hope your some health nut, organic or go home, kinda guy. Or I for one would not like to smoke what your growing. Urine has N in form of Ammonia Nitrate so diluting it down is a must. But with the shit people put in there bodies these days, with processed foods, prescrip meds and whatever else, you would be a fool to think that none of that is gonna be left polluting your plants.
Hey man, yeah I would like to think so. I am pretty much allergic to bunch of shit. Processed food actually makes me lazy and depressed. No lie, this was told to me by a doctor after my allergy test. Told me to stay away from milk and etc. Only pure cheese allowed. My mind gets cloudy whenever I binge on junk food. Anyway, hence the reason why I want to go the organic route.

Thanks again for all your help. I will ask him to send me pictures and share with you guys.

On that pee note, it doesn't actually kill plants. It has to be diluted. Watch a dog pee on a plant and kill it, it's because it is direct "hit" and a bunch of it. You only need a little. So it is just like using a whole bottle of nutes right ON the plant.

Unfortunately true. Our STP processes the effluent stream returning the water to the river and the solid remains are dried and spread on the wheat fields upwind of us. There's a reason our area is called the Dry Shitties.
I don't have a problem with it except one reason. The medications and other bad substances people put in their body.

YES!! It kills plants... bat guano and ewc doesn't
No it doesn't. In pure form it does. Diluted it is fine and made of urea, a common ingredient in fertilizers.

It has been used for millennia for fertilizer.

Its also sterile.

Our society considers it taboo but still in practice in other parts of the world.

Fact is it works. You may think its disgusting. That's just you though. I don't use it but nothing wrong with using it.

Hey everyone. All my babies are still alive and doing somewhat well. I do have a couple of problems with them. I think I know why and I took some steps in fixing them. I do want to ask around just to make sure.

Plant 1 She is a durban poison sprout is 3rd of march.
Plant 2 is Pineapple express, fuck knows when it sprouted, I forgot. It is 2 weeks after the first one I think.

PLANT 1
18196138_10155193594515891_389939552_o.jpg 18209519_10155193594510891_28585993_o.jpg 18209848_10155193594405891_38389842_o.jpg

It's this guy... No smell yet, which is good. The others are ruining my day anyway. So I want to ask about the problem on my leaves. As you can see I am going through some kind of burn on my top growth and actually damn near everywhere. Burn doesn't seem like your typical nute burn, it's a bit different, from color to the places it shows itself. Edges/margins of the plants are dark brown as well as the tips.(first picture, fan leaves) Also some tips are turning upwards.

I think its potassium deficiency?
With a bit of high nitrogen? (darker leaves)

I did flush them and also bought biobizz bio bloom. Before I was feeding all kinds of homemade stuff. I think it stopped. Nevertheless any input is appreciated. (30cm from LED and very close to two CFL's on the sides. Plagron batmix soil and 12/12 from seed. Temps is around 70 to 80 rarely jumps to 90 once or twice for a bit. Humidity around 40 to 50 rarely)

I am thinking 20,30 more days till harvest?

2nd PLANT

12/12 from seed like the other, Plagron batmix soil but I topped it with random soil because there was some empty spots. Problem was before that... The issue seems like the other plant but in reality I think its different. Burn areas are more crispy and lighter color. Also the leaves cup on some places while the green in the middle starts to yellow out. (they do not on the first plant)

I flushed this one too but I am thinking it wasnt enough, it is in a bigger pot. Your inputs are appreciated, I can flush again if needed. I fed both of the plants 2, 3 days later with 3ml of bio bloom.

Holy Nitrogen TOxicty batman, man you need to chill on the N those are almost black. and look at all the burn on tips and edges, think i will skip reading about pissing on my plants and stick to what works for me bat guano and worm castings.

Actually thats because of the batguano topping I put there. You see sll my three plants needed more soil because I didn't buy enough. When I bought some and added the plagrom bat mix they were already in flower. So i guess it was too much. I took off the soil I added, changed it with unfertilized soil ( the brown soil on top and on the sides) and flushed them. Lol

Yep bat guano is extremly powerful if you top dress with it for example my pot is 10gallons i put maybe a tblspoon and a half sprinkled around the top of plant and then i work it intot he soil with a hand trowel then water, its pressence in the soil doesnt last long from what im told just a week or so, but its super hot.

Well, lesson learned. I hope they will bounce back. I checked them today and everything seemed fine.

With a few good waterings it should all be used up and they should be ok, How much did you put on them? Just curious

Uhmmm 5, 6 handfuls of plagron batmix soil I think.(each) I did take em off right after the burn set in and flushed.

Hey, I just started feeding it urine and I am composting banana peel/egg shells/coffee for future. But the spots were before the feeding started. So I am sure its not because of urine. xD.

I won't be gone for long, a friend will act as the caretaker. Everything is automated anyway, lights turn on and off by themselves as well as the fan. Only watering is needed.
Here's a quote from a company site devoted to composting human waste.
https://ecotechproducts.net/faqs-knowledge-base/managing-leachateurine-composting-toilet-system/

In one year, the average northern European adult produces 116 gal (439.11 l) of urine. Many studies give the average daily nitrogen output for a healthy adult at about 11 grams That figure ranges widely, mostly depending upon diet. The more plant or animal protein the population consumes the more nitrogen it excretes.

Two Swedish university studies report that one northern European adult (who consumes plant and animal proteins) produces enough fertilizer in urine to grow 50 to 100 percent of the food requirement for another adult. We excrete these nitrogen-containing compounds as urea, creatine, ammonia, and a small amount of uric acid. These nutrients could feed a hungry and growing population at a lower cost than producing more expensive chemical fertilizer.

The world needs all the nutrients we are flushing away each day in our urine. Given the far-reaching costs of using manufactured fertilizers, utilizing this valuable and usually sterile resource deserves more consideration. Urine costs nothing to produce (unless you count the plant and animal protein we eat), but it does have storage and transportation costs, as does commercial chemical fertilizer.
The site explains the need to get your carbon to nitrogen ratio of your urine in check before using it as a fertilizer.

Alright, thanks everyone. I will keep an eye out next time. So far they seem like they bounced back from it. No new issues yet. I will keep you guys posted. I think I have 2 to 3 weeks to harvest the first plant. The other two just started making buds so those will take a while.

Its sterile.

There are places that take human waste from water treatment and use it on farms.

It needs to be diluted though.
It's sterile until it leaves the bladder. The urethra isn't quite sterile. When doing bacterial cultures of urine samples anything under 100,000 colony forming units (CFU)/mL is considered a negative test. So, after urine leaves the body it contains some level bacteria.

In municipal waste plants, waste is biodegraded into available nutrient form in large tanks with constant mixing and super aeration. Sometimes it goes through 3 stages of reaction tanks before it's in the form that's readily available to plants.

I had 2 years wastewater treatment engineering... We studied one treatment plant in Upstate NY where they piped the reacted waste out into the forest along about a mile of pipe that trickled it out. Yeah - around the pipe everything grew great. And funny enough, it was lined with tomato plants from seeds that had made their way through. No, we didn't pick those - they would have been fine - but, yuck...

Years ago, the city of Milwaukee used to sell MilOrganite - a human solid waste generated fertilized - but it had been reacted and broken down first.

If you use waste products - compost it first somehow to break it down into fertilizer. If not, the bacteria that will begin biodegrading the urine in the soil can also be harmful to oxygen levels in the root zone and themselves give off by-products that are harmful to the roots.

Thank you for this awesome insight into your job and knowledge! I appreciate it. I am done using urine so far, plants won't need it anyway. I am currently using biobizz bloom.

Here is some pics from the kids.
