Nice post, I was logging in so I can make a similar post. I was wondering have any of you lost family members in any wars? What war?
I had a great uncle who was shot down by Nazis over France.

Three Grandfather's in my family fought....from World War 1 to the Second World War.
I am very Thankful to all of our protectors past and present.

The old guy did WWI and WWII with his brother.
Drove bikes,
Flew planes, "everyone tried" ...some never made it of course. They just crashed! If you came back? you had a job!
Carried parts of one of those water cooled machine guns. Two guys holding the gun,,one with the tri pod the other with the ammo.
The oldest went at 18 with his younger brother who lied about his age to follow him over seas. To see them standing there in uniform at their age really sends you for a loop. The fight they fought. It's a memory I'll never forget.
and people wonder where prejudism comes from...
I don't have words for how fortunate we are.....

All you have to do is go on vacation to the poorer countries in Europe. .. then come back to Canada
