Lemon kush & Iced grapefruit from Female Seeds

Day 41(ish) of the flowing period.


There is an issue with thrips this go. I was too afraid to treat during flower so it is what it is.

Once these are done I'm bleaching the cab.

The most stout one is a black russian clone that I have done a journal for already(left side, inner). Otherwise, the left side is lemon kush and right side is iced grapefruit.

There are two phenos of each.

The IGF#1 has amber trichomes starting. She's coming around the bend.

The iced grapefruit sisters. Both are reeking of grapefruit. One is much sweeter and the other is more sour.

Those are looking pretty damn good. I personally don't have much experience with Female Seeds, but I have ran their C99 which was nice. Although I didn't really care for the flavor. I did just buy a couple of their ICE beans though. I'm hoping for something special from them. Anyways best of luck!

Not a fan of FS LK, grew it last grow alongside a WoS Strawberry Blue. It had a good bud to stem ratio, but the buds lacked resin, density, smell, and taste. Decent couch lock high though, fair yield.

The SB blew it away.

I only have the two GF phenos, at least the smell is dead on! One is sweet the other slightly ice leaning compared to her sweet sister

Sounds like my LK has what yours has plus decent frost and killer smell. Both lemon candy kinda like skittles. The shorter one has a nice pungent dank undertone to match the sweet lemon

Looking pretty damn good! I have to admit that for the price that Female Seeds strains go for, it is hard to go wrong with them. The C99 that I grew out was extremely frosty. I don't have any experience with any of their other strains, but like I said I do have a couple of their ICE seeds that I plan to run soon. According to Female Seeds description on Attitude, the smell and taste of ICE is supposed to be diesel like. I am hoping that my plant resembles the description in the end! I just love strains with those diesel characteristics!

Those are some of my favorite characteristics as well.

I got a four pack of each for like 38 bucks. Best price out there for what I received. I gave one of each them away to a friend as well.

I can tell you that the igf#1 is getting a funky stank to her, getting more pungent as the days progress! We're at day 50-53. Somewhere in there.
