Legal to grow and possess, illegal to sell

Im in! That is the perfect set up right there. I don't care about selling weed, just don't want my door kicked in and never want to worry about legality....

There needs to be realistic plant numbers, and amounts of dry bud. It shitty when they stipulate 4 plants and 1 oz, or in our case 6 plants and 4 oz. A good plant grown properly is going to surpass those numbers. There needs to be realistic limits set by people who actually understand and not some uptight anti who is trying to limit us without really understanding how the plant grows.

Leave sales to the retail shops, and let us grow our own with realistic plant numbers that would allow you to keep mothers growing along with a useable garden of budding plants.

I would like to see realistic numbers,

10 mothers, 6-10 flowering plants, and dry weight under 10lbs for personal. Clones don't count at all until there are 8 sets of branches or 18" tall.

We need a safe buffer if limits are set as far as plants and dry bud allowed. These tight ass numbers are just not real world, I don't know how to get an ounce off four plants.

BETTER YET, LEGAL. like basil or tomatoes. just make it a non issue all together.

even better!! Man I agree 100% , just legal.

It just seems they are all about these stringent guidelines that are written by folks that have no idea.

The whole idea is get it legal.
Making it legal to sell just makes it harder to get approved and money gets involved which really fucks things up if it does pass
Ohio and Florida would have legal pot right now if no money was involved

NM MMJ - 12 plants. 4 in flower. Possess up to 6 ounces dried. BUT the GOP Gov is very unhappy this was not all modified (meaning everything lowered to meet AK or OR (with only 4 allowed!)) in the last session of the Legislature. Don't kid yourself that getting legal means the chance to increase anything on our part. In NM it started the fight to obstruct and take away. So once it is legal still keep the guard up at all times.

Growing tobacco is not an issue until you try to sell cigarettes.

Keep the money out of pot and you keep the government and the cartels out of it as well

Yeah I'd be ok with that..

Any non-commercial use of cannabis, and any related cultivars is ok with me, the ammount shouldn't even matter..
1 or 1000 plants, as long as its non-commercial. High plant counts are necessary for proper breeding programs, for those that want to cultivate specific strains for personal use.

That would be fantastic. It's already being legalized in many states in the USA (good on you guys, I hope it spreads faster), I'm just hoping that they start something similar on the other side of the pond here in Europe... Ffs in the Czech Republic you can have, I think, up to three plants for personal use. But that's been around for a decade or so, so why not other countries? Damn.

I would be even happy if they allow you to have ONE plant and somehow "monitor" that. That would be start even if it means that someone from the goverment would come by your house and "check out" your grow op... I'd be more than happy.

bunch of dumb asses here . Glad you aren't part of the vote in my state. You all shouldn't be so selfish and be concerned about folks that are unable to grow for them selves . All so nothing is for free. So if you think you are going to put in your hard efforts to give it away for free and supply the state of Ohio quit lying .

give up your rights and the government or state will be charging / taxing you for it and they will take away your rights to grow after they lied to you.

Or even this,; how about one Dr. being able to recommend MMJ instead to two. I personally spent $175. on my primary care Dr. (Who won't sign cards) $175. for my renewal at the MMJ clinic, and $200. to the state. I'm not complaining on a personal level. I'm a grower and frankly I feel that I deserve to be taxed. But what about the folks who really need the help. We are not done here in Oregon, not by a damn site.

In a way we are already there..

In Alaska you are allowed 6 plants for your own personal consumption. I do believe the prior decision of Ravin vs. Alaska still stands today so you could have up to 24 plants.

In Oregon legal growers are allowed four plants, but only 8 oz. at home? I'm medical, so I don't worry. What are the possession limits in Alaska?

1 plant =felony with property forfeiture.
When the cops pull you over here they do a dmv title search. If your vehicle isn't financed they seize it.
I would say WOW! but sadly, I have been an advocate and activist for many years and am aware of the treachery. The just read an article in our local fish wrap (The Medford Mail Tribune) that said the" police have now seized more property than criminals have stolen". Anyway, for all you folks who live in states where the vote of the people actually counts ( I think it's about half) in local ballot measures, copy our measure, tweak, twerk it, start gathering signatures, and VOTE. Actually, here in Oregon, on the MMJ dispensary issue anyway, our legislators literally got tired of the goofy proposals that most of us were supporting and passed their own legislation. Most of us are growers not politicians. Getting us all to agree on anything is like herding cats. For those of you who don't live in progressive states, I don't know what to say. Move if you can, but how realistic is that? Maybe if something happens on the national level non progressive states won't have any choice but to comply. I guess my best advice is pray to the Hemp Fairy. It most likely won't help, but she is listening:)
