I had a friend whose probation officer told him to get his recommendation so he could smoke but i suppose that could have just been a good probation officer. He should probably ask his probation officer.

Its a complicated situation. I dont live in cali as of right now i live east coast but im waiting on the home check in California so i can move. I just want to know for sure if after i move there if i can get the recommendation and being on probation wont affect it

Yes. Get your recommendation and you are legal with Probation. I know people that failed piss test and were told if they want to smoke then get the recommendation and they were not busted. If a PO wants to phuck with you they can.

Your paperwork says you will not break any law including federal. But real situation in cali is there is no room in jail or prison for dirty weed poss tests.
