Legal marijuana will soon become extinct.......

Did you bother to read to article Harris???

Pot is still federally illegal, and with a change in government leadership, it could start enforcing federal law and demand states stop allowing it's sale and production. It's not so far-fetched if you reallt think about it.

A lot of people are worried. Yes, we have made great strides towards legalization, but this country's political system is fucked and these are just the types of issues that people want to have on the tabs so they can argue about them and make a big deal about them so that we don't see or ask questions about the real problems in the world.

Some recreational places have banked on the possibility of being shut down -so they sat up shop whatever which way they could and started selling. They are selling so much weed right now, that even if they get shut down come 2017, their investment is safe. It's the late start, "we're going to wait and see" guys that risk getting caught with their pants down. Even though they, too, stand to make a lot of money, the start-up costs and lawyers and everything are incredibly expensive. The electricity bills for a large black-out greenhouse are incredible.

But, even if it is made illegal, again, the underground network is always in full-effect. Marijuana will be more available than ever before whether it's legal or not.

I do hope that the shift continues towards federal legalization because I think it would put a lot more people back to work -and doing jobs they could really love! I think it would bring back the real free enterprise system again if anyone is able to open up their own, little "Ma & Pa" herb shop down on the corner. People doing jobs that they like…imagine that! ;)

I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Actually, this is pretty far fetched. Not going to happen, this train has already left the station. Don't take fox news too seriously.
You can't be that old to think this is not a threat. Who gives a shit about Fox News? There's noise in donor circles and these jerks are puppets. No brains, no balls and they dance when their strings are pulled. Don't discount EVER religious twits.

America took 1984 by George Orwell, and the movie Wall Street not as the cautionary tales they were meant to be, but as templates to apply to life.

We now have a paranoid, fascist enforcement state nervously watching a country that's legalized so many forms of corruption it can't keep them all straight.

Confused yet? If you're not, you're missing something. Pull a noodle out of this mess and more insanity comes flying out at you; like, why a large swath of voters (non rich conservatives) would support a party that's so obviously against their economic best interests?

This country is JACKED, because it no longer does what it tells the world and its own citizenry it does; we are not a democracy, we don't promote justice in the world, we don't provide opportunity for our people, we aren't prospering, we are stealing from the poor and giving it to the rich... and that's just off the top of my head.

Of course it's not sustainable! The question is not whether a crash will happen, it's only a matter of when and how bad!

Scared yet? You should be; America's defense budget is bigger than the next dozen largest budgets in the world... COMBINED. Friends and foes alike.

Yet we pay more attention to Brittney Spears than police brutality. Oh no- instead, we've been spending the last decade larding police departments across the country with military hardware!

Does this sound like any way to encourage the official respect of private civil rights? LOL

Total legalization is coming - and nothing can stop it - if "we the people" keep up the fight !!!!! Let's be positive and hope it comes soon this year there are 5 more states that are going (in-line) for total legalization in 2016 believe they are ": California, Vermont, Ohio, Mass. (can't remember the last state) "Times they are a changing" (anybody know who wrote that song? ( Bob Dylan back in the 1960's - how current it is today)

It's time to look beyond pot legislation and towards dismantling the fascist lawfare state that has been built up in the name of 'security' but is being used for illegal societal control instead.

Why should the citizen be reduced to begging for his civil rights to be respected?!

Since WHEN does ANY PART of the federal government apparatus consider itself ABOVE the Constitution?! THAT must be quashed, along with no knock warrants, warrantless search, RICO, The Patriot Act, the Freedom Act and any other Orwellian legislation our dear fascists in government have polluted our legal system with!

I invite everybody to read the Cole Memo, on the somewhat current government stance on states with legal MJ. Not look at a federal report showing the possible drawbacks of legalization.

http://www.justice.gov/iso/opa/resources/3052013829132756857467.pdf

Dont want to read the Memo?.. I'll simplify..

MJ is illegal on the federal level, they classify MJ as a schedule 1 substance, however they would prefer MJ be a local matter of enforcement. Federal authority could come into play under the criteria listed in the memo, diversion to illegal markets, selling to minors.. etc.. Federal enforcement could still come into play IF they see the need.

So this means..

If you are following local rules and regulations for medical growing, you are most likely safe.

However.. this is just speculation, IF the government decides to reclassify cannabis under a different schedule, they could make this a prescription drug available only in the pharmacy.. so its possible medical grows could fall under federal enforcement if they move in this direction.
