>>they were not digikey..they were photo's from the factory i am dealling with...

they were just beside the "Sinner Panel" samples i had made

before i actually got the size changed from Sinner Panel--->7" x11"

to the size i really wanted but was too lazy to do..-------> 6" x 22" @250w..[ in production]
That's a lot of watts on that footprint. What do you plan for heat management?

No gripes with chilLED at all, in fact their upcoming version of the QB looks pretty awesome.

But as I said in the opening post I dont really like the board format. Its certainly superior from a manufacturers standpoint but as an end-user building a few lamps, and not really being concerned with a little extra wiring, I like the control over spacing and thermal management of strips a lot more.

In the long run it probably doesnt matter than much but after realizing I can have a high efficiency, 1w emitter evenly distributed over the entire 4x4 with pretty minimal effort, Ive become a bit of a uniformity hound :-P

Chilled is the coolest pcb coming out idk why people aren't talking about it more.

It appears we have a few players to add to the growing list of options:

This wavy board from fantomdesigns looks awesome and before you start crying foul about design-poaching just remember the world is a cauldron of borrowing.

Edit: to avoid confusion the light pictured below is not a wavy board...it is a nextlight. For the wavy board please follow the link thru the bold text.

Also.....

@OLD MOTHER SATIVA has some 4ft strips and has made a thread about them. He has plans to be offering them for sale in the future so stay tuned.

Here's another option for the tweakers. Spectrum tweakers that is.

The price is a dealbreaker but a cheaper version of that 14-up strip from Steve's is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.
