LED Lights Staying Slightly Lit When Timer Switches Off!!!

I had this problem some time ago when i was using cheap led fixture bought from amazon. After a really long time of research, I was convinced that it was not because of the ground or any similar thing, it was just because of cheap components used to make LEDs. Later on I noticed the same thing on stationary led lights that i use in construction sites, it was cheap and did the same. Last 2 rounds in growing i use nokatech 660w led and no such problem. I really recommend growers who think that buying cheap leds from Alibaba and elsewhere better change to good quality ones, now there are many companies that sell good leds for decent prices. And yes, all of them making leds in same china, but undert the brand names they use better quality materials so you get better product for little bit higher price. Thats really worth it.

Basically you can find all the shelves the same of many brands, but there is one but, what leds use and what drivers use. Factories from china when they put their own brand on alibaba they put the cheapest components inside, so you might think its the same, but its not, because those companies invest big amounts for orders they are let to change the inside as you wish. So thats what I wanted to say. I did big research on this and spend quite amount of time and believe me, its not the same if you think you will order from alibaba and get the same product. Many things goes behind the curtains. I will never go back buying little bit cheaper from alibaba when buying from company where i atleast can go back with warranty.

Cheers.
And there is no comap

I see you missing the point here. If by u, so all things are made in china so the same. I just want to tell you that those who buy from china as the end users are being tricked because you have no power in decision, you buying cheapest things inside. Companies under the brands that goes same for lumatek, maxibright, gavita, lumi black, spider farm and most of others are as you call from alibaba, they are made in china factories, none of these companies owns their own manufacturing because why (of course fohse or syncled they doo, but not so many). But when you come as a company, you are the one who chooses the quality because you making big bulk orders. I talked with some guy works at one wholesale company (huge one for growers) and they also make some products under their own brand, and he said same that china people always suggest you to go with their standart one components, and never understand why you wanna change to better ones, but companies who position themself as better quality ones (as they do) always spend more to make it better as the price difference is not huge one but they do because of warranties and so on. Try to send back to alibaba your cheap shit.

They are the same dude. Feel free to show me the bin codes of the diodes and driver part numbers that they swapped from all your research.
They are fixture OEMs. They don't be little their own name in the market. How do you think they get the chads USD? They make decent lights at a price that attracts chads to mark up 100% and still "seem cheap".
OEM sells at their normal price...Chad marks up and makes his money...you think you got some deal when in fact you paid double what you needed to.

End story.
they are not the same mate, believe me. lol you can choose to have the domestic cheapest diodes and more expensive like samsung or sanan or some others. The thing is that the cheapest one will work the same maybe one year max and then starts to degrade fast, while expensive ones deliver same results longer.

But anyway, I am not here to teach you, you can keep thinking that you bought the same quality from china guy directly , good luck lol

Lmao that's because 120 volts suck it doesn't do it on 240 it's how the transformer deals with the low voltage.
This. I chased this problem for a few days. Triple checked all electrical and disassembled my LED to verify it was correct. I’m running HLG lights so it’s nothing to do with cheap LEDs. At the end of the day it doesn’t affect your grow.

You are correct although I can see it causing issues on light sensitive long flowering sativas, but usually you run those on 11/13 or less. Never really tested it I just cured the problem.

I think you are missing the point.
Most light manufacturers use Chinese labor because it is cheap.
Most diodes are produced in china, for the same reason, as well as the pcb they are mounted on.
Some American made lights are assembled in America, but the parts are the same.

I am willing to spend a few extra bucks for a light that employs some folks domestically, but it doesnt change where the parts come from.
