LED lighting

Yay or nay?

I would want to use this rather than HID maily becasue of the heat. But does if affect the growth differently?

Will I get a good grow from using these?

I have been using LED's for my last two grows. My personal experience has been that the quality is superb though i have had slightly lower yields and I have also had to run slightly lower concentrations of nutrient. Overall they are great technology that just hasn't reached its full POTential yet. I feel that sooner or later they will outperform HID lighting. If heat is a concern LED's are def. the way to go!

I have grow inside & outside in the past inside using the standard HPS & MHL bulbs

Now I have a small space using an LED to grow and I am very happy with the results

Look around here there are a few grows using LED lights with decent results

I would say hold off until some of us that are trying LED's finish out our grows and than make your mind up. I grow with 4 1000w HPS at another site and we are killing with those. The buds are FREAKIN HUGE. But we also fried 2 plants because of the heat and the water was not getting to them for a day and half. So watch and see what happens
