Lost in Shenzhen- I love it

Whatcha smokin there Homie? Good stuff

Yeah, ABA (Adjustable Beam Angle) for the win

That's what I ordered.

If I had mad skillz/equipment I would DIY

What 'I' like about the down lights is as better stuff for mj growing becomes available, I can use them elsewhere

Oh boy, I can here you now... order stopped after a phone call this morning with BML- a very sophisticated led lighting company

Instead of me getting the 5 Ali down lights, BML is going to send me 2 x 3ft @ 2700K light bars to supplement my 3500/5000 ufo 90s

They have a rather extensive lighting background

It will be worth anyone's while to spend some time on their site

Their Spyder 600 is designed for a 4 x 4 BUT he is going to make one with a 2 ft spine for me to evaluate in place of my hot5 Bad Boy:hump:

http://www.bmlhorticulture.com/how-to-compare-grow-lights/

Individual bars you select the length and lens angle (optical quality)

http://www.bmlhorticulture.com/spydr-600-grow-max-spectrum/

and here comes the orgasm. This program allows the grower to select their own spectrums and see exactly how they will look, how much CCT, CRI, and an actual graph. A custom made light. Oh my.

You are looking at it the wrong way....you dont need mad skills or equipment for DIY....not sure where your attitude was born...

Well congratulations on your BML testing panel Pet...do you contact every grow light company asking for a freebie or do they head hunt you on your growing prowess?

Apache is blowing out the at120 for $537.00

It's not on the site, no code, or anything for it. You need to call and ask about them, say you heard about it from me or at the max yield show. It's the last there is of the 120's, when they are gone they're gone.

That's a great deal. Still one of the best available. Hope this means they are clearing space to work on new stuff.

Puffenuff has an avatar...or apache is clearing the AT120...which is bigger news... ;)
Puff has a avatar!
Its the same one I had back in the day. Then I turned off avatars in the riu settings but thought I was just turning off the ones I see for everyone else's, but I guess mine turned off too. Don't think that's possible with the new site so they brought back my old one. A nice cone spliff. I think I'll leave it.

But what about some thoughts on that link I posted earlier for that new light? I've never seen any leds like that before. I looked at the spec sheets and maybe I wasnt reading it right but the par numbers seemed a bit low. Other than that it definitely looks interesting.

Never remembered that avatar......strange...........anyways about the ^^ led fixture, well their definitely going for the greenhouse---supplementation market, not as a lone source of light IMO. They've taken one of led's biggest advantages (directional lighting) and lost it by bouncing everything off the reflector, according to them to make it more uniform, which is an immediate 10-15% loss of light (with a new/clean reflector)+ led module is bouncing photons within it? more losses by passing through more "shit "lol.

price is ridiculous for 150w.....if that's even true ...............ul listed for damp locations, that's interesting==== is this the panel someone else was recommending to provolone in his thread?????

my 2c

Hey everyone, it's been too long since I had time to catch up on this thread, but I've been busy testing some LED's- I had the LumiGrow Pro650, Chameleon Plasma +LED, Black Dog BD700 and a laughable induction fixture mapped using a top of the line StellarNet spectraradiometer. I'd be happy to share the map files if anyone on here is interested in checking them out. Could use advice on the proper place to upload them on here as well.

Full grow should follow, and I may be free of my contractual obligations to that publisher so I may be able to share it here as a grow diary! Hope you've all been well

BML shipped my x 3ft supplemental rails yesterday, and not a minute too soon as my 20 day old MedMan Silver Skunk Bx1s are exploding so much, I may well need to flip before they're one month old.

These from cotyledon under 2 x 90w ufo (3500/5000K)
