Thanks! I think BC BLONDES should be in the Cob grow light section though. It's actually the only cob light company offering monster cob lights for less $ then that pre-fab DIY stuff. All top-bin w/ MeanWell drivers & they also sell cobs n drivers too.

Good job staying ontop of your up-dates & providing people w/ links.

Do you grow w/ LED by any chance? If so, whatchu rockin?

Are you going to do a separate thread or include one here, on proven lights vs. the many fly by nighters or cheap Chinese? So people can narrow down there search.

I used to use Kind, but I am in the market for a new light. Not currently growing, but working on getting set up again. Part of the reason I started this thread was so I could see what is out there.

When I do I will definitely post my grow.

When I first started this thread I said I wanted to do good and bad list, but I dont know how we would determine what belongs where.

A good, bad & untested wouldn't be that hard.
Just there's so many morons here that don't even grow or own a light that would try to dominate the thread. Maybe not. And you could always tell them if they have no experience w/ anything to kick rocks.
Kind Led is terrible.
Amare is the best by far. But there are good ones out there.
When you're in the mkt for something new, you should peep my thread. Im using 3 differant lights. Each differant from the next.

Nice! Glad to hear! You doing a thread?
haha Every now and then I think about it, but it hasn't happened yet. I used to do one on ICMag years ago. Maybe when I get my new larger setup going I will start one, but I am rather lazy tbh. It's micro/closet stuff atm - not super interesting really.

I'm sure it is to the other guys doing micro-cabs. There are a bunch, you're smart, maybe you'd help them out. Never know till you try.

What do people here make of Budmasters new led light please? Budmaster hps

http://www.budmaster.co.uk/budmaster-high-pressure-sunlight.html

Before anybody starts, No I don't work for Budmaster etc etc
Good quality . They use Osram SSL 80's in there high end models, but slightly overpriced IMO .Though they do come with a three year warranty and if you're in the uk and don't want to ship from USA or DIY there's nothing really else on the same level in the UK.
Icemud does a few grows with them.

I do live in the UK, so options are limited. I'll be getting a few of these to run alongside cmh. I'm rubbish at diy, like terrible bongsmilie

It's a pity about the lack of high end led fixtures in the UK, there's no competition it's like Grownorthern, Budmaster or Advanced Platinum which is like a well marketed overpriced Mars (or should i say Eshineo_O). And then all the other chinese bullshit.

What about LeoLed if you're in the eu? They're close to my ideal light but just too pricey. It would cost 2000 euro to buy the 4 fixtures required to fill a 4x4 tent. if they were a little cheaper I'd get 2 or 3. You can get the same amount of light from about 750 euro of Mau5 kits from cutter and 2 hours work.

You're paying a huge premium for European design , passive cooling, water proof. Might be worth it to some.

The top model has 4 cobs, cree 3070s, run very soft apparently, only 125wat used by the 4 cobs. They claim 2.5 ppf/w.

I don't buy that claim..........fast to email me when they thought I was a customer , then I asked if they confirmed that 2.5ppf/w # in a sphere?.............nada, crickets, silencio, lol

I'm trying to work something out to finally get some real #s on the cxb line......hopefully soon
