Leaves Twisting & Curling Up/Down

Hello to all my fellow growers this is my first grow and am stumped to the point where im searching for help as ive only found so much info..

Heres some background of my grow:
Roots organic soil
Remo nutrients
315 lec light
Temp between 73-83
Humidity 20-40%
Ph water around 6.1-6.4
Week 4 veg currently

I bought bad clones with spidermites and has been a hard learning lesson since then..i found out roots organic soil is prone to infestation and now im battling fungus gnats after ridding of SM.

Ive used DE, fly traps, and azamax so far and seemed to improve after alot of dying lower leaves but now my upper leaves are curling up/down and twisting up worst every day..

My questions are what do you guys think is it still the FG? PH problem? (Run off was at 5.9)

Also can i cut the dead leaves or wait for them to drop?

(White spots on plants are the D. Earth i kinda made a mess when cleaning it up)

Chances are still pretty good that you have mites. I hope you got them all, but it's simply unlikely without a long and drawn-out battle.

Personally, I'd remove the damaged leaves so that you can continue to easily spot future changes. I also wouldn't change too much as you try to get these beauties back to health. The more you change the less chance you'll know what worked and also may cause even more problems. Perhaps new quality soil when you pot-up next.

If you still have mites, you'll need to decide if you want to use chemicals or not. Since they're young, I'd do what ever was in my power to kill every bug in existence.

Thanks for the response i checked my leaves today and new growth had a bite taken out of one the leaves so im assuming their still there right? I bought Green Cleaner heard its more potent than azamax so might have to break it out tomorrow and spray my whole grow room with plants.

My confusion now is when cutting leaves do i cut them down to the stem or just where its yellowing and drying up?

A bite taken out? Mites don't take chunks out of your foliage.

Did you confirm you had spider mites?

The Azamax can definitely burn your plants and cause weird growth, as WILL the Green Cleaner. Green Cleaner ALWAYS upsets my plants for a few days. The issue is the citric acid has an extreme drying effect, causing the plants to transpire heavily and uptake large amounts of nutes in the rootzone, too rapidly. If I don't water with straight water or flush prior to using Green Cleaner or Nuke Em (they instruct to flush prior to spraying Nuke Em) I will get burning, crispy leaves, clawing, etc.

I didnt think so just thought its weird how some leaves missing parts as if bitten. I checked plants again and found a few left so sprayed green cleaner one more time, i did not know it leaves that effect though i appreciate the info as this might be the answer to my problem as alot of leaves have papery, crisp feeling to them still but i feel its also due to the spidermites and fungus gnats?

Any additional info is greatly appreciated as its hard to narrow down symptoms with bugs making it difficult.

That plant looks wasted man. The lower nodes are gone. It was infested. Its sickly looking. And the stretch is unreal. If it where me id cut the top off it and reroot it. But thats me. Also dont buy clones that place anymore

I still don't see any signs of mites... At the lower nodes I don't see mites damage, I see nutrient/pH issues.

I am having similar issues, anyone have an idea what was going on here?

You would be better off starting your own thread with pics of the problem.(pics in a white light).

Isn't 6.1-6.4 a low ph for soil?...I've heard that organic soil isn't supposed to require monitoring and adjusting of PH, but I just thought I'd throw that thought out there...

I really dont see anything wrong other than weak. Have you fed that thing or checked pH of soil?
