Leaves turned brown overnight

I have some plants growing and they were all strong and healthy but then i noticed there were little like fruit flys in the room so i put a little dish of vinegar in to catch them but then the next day when i looked in the room literally all of my plants leaves turned yellow. I'm wondering what did this if it was the vinegar in the air or what and if it is too late to save them
