Leaves drooping?

Hi guys. I figured I'd ask here since this seems like it has a bunch of knowledgeable growers :). I am currently growing green crack, I have my plants in 5 gallon buckets, plants are in veg and are approximately 8 weeks old, they were put outside June 11th. My water schedule is water, water, feed. I am using Shultz all purpose plant food at 1/3 of the dosage instructions on the container. Just plain old potting soil from Walmart, lots of drainage holes in the bottom of my buckets. So here's the problem. I went to my plants last Wednesday and my leaves appear to be dropping, soil was in between moist and dry. I watered and left, I only use spring water......I hope someone could give me insight to what's going on with my plants. Too much work to lose em now......I'm thinking root bound but is it too late to switch to 10 gallon containers?

yes a bigger pot would be nice

they are good looking plants

are the pots getting super dried out quickly with them being on the small side?

I think they might be looking for more fertilizer possibly

especially magnesium

your all purpose fertilizer...
whats it derived from?
is it liquid or dry?
water soluble or time release?

what are the 3 NPK % numbers on the bottle

whats the calcium and magnesium % numbers on the bottle?

id spray them right with 1/2 tsp per gallon epsom salt 2x three days apart

those plants look fine. they probably should have been placed in the ground if they are growing outdoors the entire time.
Schultz all purpose is a small dose, strong synthetic fert that I think has the instructions of 7 drops per gallon. Using half a tsp and spraying that on them will probably create problems. satori, do be more careful. your spelling has improved, btw. you are listening, aren't you?

Cannabis is a weed therefore will grow in just about anything

They look great. Leaves tend to reach upwards during dark or dim periods then settle down some when it's really bright or hot. This is normal. Your plants don't look dropout because of anything bad at all.

Thanks guys for the input. Plant food I'm using is a 24-8-16 Shultz crystals you dissolve in water. I use 5mls per 10 litres of water, I would have liked to plant them in the ground but there's young punks around my area who like to search the woods for pot plants and steal them. I set up green thread around all of my plants low to the ground about 5 feet out. So if my thread is broken I first look for animal tracks.......and if I see footprints. Plants get moved......I also like putting my plants in singles for the same reason

your fertilizer almost has 2x as much N as it does K

I think theyd like some K and some magnesium... hence the Epsom salt spray
for example;
2 grams per gallon of 24-18-16 fertilizer yeilds
127 ppm N
18 ppm P
70 ppm K

they don't look over fed of super dark green so the N is likely about right but it leaves the K low

It's not a weed. It's a woody herbaceous plant, a flowering herb. Weed is the word used to describe unwanted plants in your yard that you don't want.
That Schultz NPK ratio won't be great for flowering.

Sun can fuck up the roots on the exposed side in as little as 15 minutes.
Leaves will show thirst first, then the top node will go limp and so it goes down the stem. You can judge the severity of things with this.
Roots can be harmed by temperatures, too strong nutes, insufficient oxygen (overwatering) or drying (insufficient watering).

All I am seeing is cold, morning leaves, with a minute amount of tip burning.
The leaves are full of water because it is morning, when the sun comes up, they start transpiring, and get lighter, then they lift up if there is sufficient turgor left in the branches and stems.
P.S., where you can, try to put something underneath your pots so air can move underneath it and water can actually get out. By now, your roots have probably grown straight through into the ground.

This was actually around 730 in the evening I took the pictures......thanks for the tips about putting something under the buckets though, never thought of that :). I'll be going out again to check tomorrow. Hopefully things are good

Was it getting cooler? The shade makes many stomata close down so leaves retain water while there is no active transpiration.

My opinion on miracle grow products is they are way too hot. You probably bought those two ferts because they are cheap but if you use too much, they will kill your plants.

I have mg ultrabloom for my flowering stage
is that also water soluble? its not time release is it?

15-52-15

that's almost all P...

you don't have another fertilizer available to you?

something where the last number is the largest number of the 3
