:wall:Hey folks...when ever you transplant seedlings into a DWC tub, do not have your fan blowinf on them. I almost lost 3 last night. I got up this am and 3 of six were drop dead drooping. I quicly watered them off, and sprayed them, 2 of the 3 bounced back, but one, well, she's a gonner! The air from the fan dried out the tender roots and it just wouldnt come back...oh well!:wall:

Bro I never have a fan blowing directly on my plants at any point in my grow. I do have 3 fans in the flower room blowing indirect air over and around my plants creating a light breeze for them. Mostly to keep the heat from the lights off the tops so i dont stress them tho.
Dont believe the rumor about keeping ur lights far away from the plants in seedling stage..The trick is the lighting used during this stage, low intensive, low heat as close as possible.
If u keep ur lights further away the seedlings will stretch to them its that simple, they stretch to the lamp and start growing big tops that there lil stalks cant handle.
I try to stick with 13 watts of cfl lighting over each seedling evenly distributed.. couple inches away till they lose the seed then. Then an inch above the tops till they go to flower.
Light breeze.

I'm using 4 flouros, 4 feet, two inches away...believe me I know and practice everything you said in your post.....I just thought that would be a good place for my little fan, which apparently it is not....I wanted to strengthen the bases by having some circulation blowing on them...obviously too much too soon for transplanted seedlings in pea gravel.......hell, I'll post a current pic.....2 of the 3 made it back, one I just topped it to see what happens....

The Two cup bucket, the closest one I topped off just to see if it would reproduce,
The red top bucket, the two closest to you were the ones that "fell" they popped back
