hi!

It's exactly 2 months today since I switched to 12/12...
They've been going on GHE RIPEN for last week. I think I have given them a little too much (EC=1,9) - they slowed growth down or maybe even stopped?

I threw all the nuted water away and gave them some demineralised for 36 hours.
At first EC went up to EC=0,2 but remained on that level.
After day and a half I have raised GHE RIPEN EC to 0,9.

My pH meter wasnt calibrated well and cheated me by 0,15 - 0,2 ph - so this could be another problem....

I try to keep my pH around 5,8 - 6 as I know that K is being absorbed best between 5,9 - 6,1 in hydro.

My question in - Should I start new water with flushing agent (AN FINAL PHASE) now?
Are they ready yet?

AN recommends to use fresh demineralised water and FINAL PHASE 3ml/1l .
They say system should be run constantly pumping for 6 hours and then I should throw everything away and continue on demineralised water for another 5-7 days and harvest...

What to do?
a) combine GHE RIPEN and FINAL PHASE for few days together?
b) stop GHE RIPEN, use FINAL PHASE for 6hrs, change water, let it run on clean for 5-7 days?
c) change water, run FINAL PHASE for 6 hrs, leave FINAL PHASE for 3-4 days in the res?

I have many more options - What to do now?
It is my first grow!
All you experienced growers - please help.
Adam

Those white tubes looks like the wiring coming down from the reflector, to the ballast..or maybe the ballast is mounted inside and you can just see both sets of wires. :leaf:

oh, I just started the Final Phase 3 hours ago....
I'll let it run through for another 3 hours and change to plain demineralised water.
They don't look ready to me though.
I can still see many greeny-whitish pistills with a potential to grow...
I'll see how they do on plain water and maybe add some more RIPEN later on ?

hmm.
They're on clean water with HYGROZYME now...
EC has raised from 0 to 0,2 over the night.
Should I change water to fresh one again?

BlackHit: Thanks for kind words mate but now I feel they could have been like 3 times fatter ;-)
I did many mistakes thorughout my grow - pH fluctuation that was caused by not presoaking my rockwool cubes, several nute burns (I have also changed nutes during grow), I did cut off many fan leaves and prune my roots - which slowed the growth down...
Also my grow room was not ready when I started - I had to buy several more things to let them grow happily - portable AC has proved to be a must as my water temp were hitting 24-25 C, pH and EC digital meters were bought after some time only....
Now I have another big problem...
I did get my experience and proper tools... I bought some more nutes and additives (like HYGROZYME which is a must for hydro in my opinion), CONNOISEUR ferts from Advanced Nutirents, I did understand that I can grow without changing my water every week (which I was doing, spending tons of money for demineralised water in bottles).

Ok
So I have MOUNT COOK seedling under 26W CFL with lights on 24/24. It looks quite cool and grows really quickly...
I was planning to veg it a little bit, then top it up and make clones out of it and grow it in my current setup (5 plant slots) and try doing the SEA OF GREEN grow with some more advanced nutes fromula...
But my wife wants me to get rid of tent from our apartment and I have no other place to grow ;-(
Few pics of the MT COOK seedlings and my BONZAI trees (clones that were taken during flowering - I know they're for nothing but look very nice - few cm tall bushy plants with resin and flower - it is alive actualy, has very nice roots and is doing well)

ok, thanks to everybody who is sharing knowledge with me ;-)
Take care
Adam

new pics.
Harvest or wait another few days?
I feel like a kid waiting for santa ;-)

I only have 9x magnifying glass and I cannot really see the head of the trichome ;-(
In some of them light reflects like in crystal, but some of them are just white/transparent - hard to say...
But it looks like a few of trichomes from the biggest cola have turned a little amber already, especially near to the places where brown, ripened pistills come from....
I have no idea which trichomes ripen first, but it looks like a very possible thing to me....
That would mean it is already too late for the first plant right?
Should I take her off now and wait few days for the other one?
?
Help - I dont want to ruin them - they have had enough hard times with me ;-)
